Lovely meals and great service with a smile and a friendly attitude. Staff were ever so helpful with an issue with my wife's blue light card discount which was resolved. Would reccomend 100%

Nice, cosy pub. Good service, staff are very nice and friendly. Recommended quiz nights on a Wednesday and Sunday starting at 8pm.

Such a beautiful pub. A stones throw from home, with exceptional staff and wonderful food, it’s the place to go when you don’t fancy doing your own dinner. Have never been let down by the quality of food or service

Enjoyed our meal on Saturday. The staff were run ragged with a large booking but still provided service with a smile. Food was excellent and will be returning soon

Table of 8, most of the food was ok but one was terrible, staff very apologetic. Moretti lager tasted sour and definitely not right. Female chef wearing exceptionally dirt whites (5pm) was a nod towards poor hygiene.Waiting and bar staff very amiable but not sure any of us will go back though.

An incredible let down unfortunately. We came here as a run group 5-6 years ago and it was brilliant. This time around they got a few things wrong and instead of rectifying the manager started an argument with one of our group. I am mortified. I will not come again until the management is changed. 28 local people and none of them will come again or being their families and they will unfortunately receive nothing but a negative review after tonight's horrendous service.It was supposed to be a fun night. Such a shame.

Highly recommended. Food was brilliant and the pub was full with all sorts of customers, making it feel like the good old days. We will be back!

It all started so well, then became a disaster. I headed to The Greatfield for Sunday Lunch with two friends. They offer a great deal with Sunday Lunch for £13.99. We were sat by a lovely member of staff and then placed our orders and got drinks (great beer!). However, that's where the problems started. After half an hour, our starters turned up. They were perfectly adequate. After starters we waited an hour until I queried with the lovely bar staff where our food was. We were informed that the kitchen were just plating it up. Another 10 minutes passed and I asked again and was told that they were just waiting for one more thing. Another 10 minutes passed and the food arrived. The veg were wrinkled and black, the roasties were solid and the whole lot was stone cold. I commented to the lad serving us and he went to fetch someone to come and talk to us. The lady who was perhaps the manager came out. She was clearly very stressed and to be honest quite dismissive when she came to see us. I commented that the food was cold and we weren't happy. She said she was going to refund us. She then came over with a card machine asking for payment for the drinks and the starters. I said no to that, as we wouldn't have had any drinks or starters if we weren't in for a meal. We had turned up for lunch and weren't having it and in fact were going to have to go and buy food to cook at home. She was then very rude. When I tried to approach her again as we were leaving she effectively tried to make the whole thing my fault because I'm "not considering the challenges in the hospitality industry". I feel that having waited over an hour for our food, expecting hot food wasn't too much to ask and was in fact very considerate. We left it there and my friends, who have visited before have said that they won't be returning. Its such a shame as the bar staff were lovely and the pub environment was great.

Once again me and my partner have had amazing service which has been getting served drinks fast and also perfect food. I'll definitely be coming back because of the lovely and amazing staff we always feel welcomed at this pub.

It's a well done out modern pub, artfully divided up into areas which I enjoy. Good pub fair served by good staff who deal with you as an individual. I enjoyed my burger for lunch
