Despite having scaffolding around at the moment, this pub is simply beautiful. A timeless place just steeped in history. Well worth a visit .

Went there yesterday. Very friendly staff and the place is lovely. Just disappointed by the homemade chicked leak and ham pie, which was pulped up dry chicken with no sauce and absolutely no trace of ham or leaks in it. I sieved through the chicken pulp and found none of the other ingredients what so ever. The pastry was nice though.

Excellent food, Sunday roast highly recommended as is the curry, service a little slow but they were very busy. Will come along again.

This is one of my favourite pubs, such a quirky old building and lovely garden. Really happy the food has improved as the last time we came (which was pre covid) it was disappointing. Yesterday we were not disappointed at all (apart from there being no chicken in a basket anymore) The food was delicious and back to excellent quality pub grub, all for reasonable prices too. We will definitely be back more often!

Lovely location! The lady (didn't catch her name) was very welcoming and relaxed. Had food and drinks was all delicious! Service was great. If you looking for a little country pub with beautiful outside, this definitely is a winner.

Perfect Cotswold pub, fabulous sunny beer garden by the river. Good pub food, decent portions and didn't cost the earth. Other pubs in the area should take note, no one likes being fleeced for their lunch!

Lovely food and welcoming. Unfortunately the famous chicken in the basket seems to have been crossed off their list, which is a shame as we were looking forward to a walk down memory lane. 😢

Quaint pub, lovely place for a drink outside by the water. Interesting and wide selection of Samuel Smiths Beers, but quite a few were not on when I visited.
