The Soho Bar in Cheltenham

Very bland food and stand offish service. The olive sharer was lovely. The pizza was unfortunatley under seasoned as was the penne pasta that might have been shop bought.Also the drinks were not the classic Italian specs you might imagine.Overall very disappointing and we won't me returning.

Thought we better try this place as loved some of the owner retaliations in the comments below and it did not disappoint. The food was great, the service even better (thanks George). We had starters, mains and desserts and everything was 👌🏻 We had a really nice time.

Shocking service from the staff. We went on New Year's Eve and when we arrived were faced with a very limited set menu at a higher price which we were not made aware of. After challenging the staff we were reluctantly offered the normal menu. Had to ask for a lot of requests twice. Food came out separately. Waited too long for last drinks which sat on the bar going flat so cancelled them but they were left on the bill.Food was average.Would avoid!!

Ate here last night, what a misfortune! When eating out, you look forward to an evening of good food and enjoyment. Waited an hour for starters, calamari was like rubber in thick, over-fried batter which I am sure was reheated in the fryer. Then waited another hour for the mains which were absolutely terrible, husband and son had only ordered pizzas which looked awful, I had the fish which actually made me feel ill afterwards. Yes, as a family we are foodies but this was probably the worst meal we’ve had in years.

Great food, lovely service. Thanks a lot! Would definitely go back.

UPDATE - very unprofessional and rude response to my review from the restaurant.. well I certainly won’t visit again.Looks Italian, smells Italian, but definitely not Italian… a slightly disappointing visit as this restaurant has a great location and appears to have a great menu, sadly the food is very far from authentic Italian food. The interior is nice, and the staff try to be polite and professional, but sadly they’re not there yet. Pasta can be overcooked, the saltimboca is more like thick pork chops with white sauce, and the risotto is more like rice with vegetables cooked for a long time. I hope they get a better chef as that would make a huge difference!

Food is amazing, staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant! My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming back!!!Thanks again to all of the staff at Come A Casa 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 😁

Excellent dining experience! The food was incredibly delicious. Having ordered vegan meals, we were positively impressed with the the freshness and taste of the food.The staff was extremely professional and careful, always willing to check for vegan friendly meal options for us.I would strongly recommend, especially if you are into Italian food and fine dining experiences.
