Having already experienced an amazing Bottomless Brunch in the Bournemouth branch, expectations where running high.Unfortunately not a great as previously mentioned. Staff meeting being held in the restaurant is never going to go down well with customers, regardless of the number of customers actually present. This resulted in us having to go to the bar to order our drinks, which ate into bottomless drink time, a ploy?!Once we got the attention of out waitress, service improved and the drink flowed.Food was excellent, although we opted to upgrade our food choices, as the included food is a bit limited.Cocktails where fantastic and reasonably sized. Will we go back? Maybe.

My first ever time at Turtle Bay, wow, what an experience, I felt like I was on holiday, so colourful, lovely atmosphere and we had a fabulous person taking care of our table, my wife had told me about her previous visit and she was right about the cracking atmosphere. Can't wait to go again.

Went to turtle bay, awful, served by someone blatantly hung over or over worked from race week, kept sitting at our table to take orders like she was a friend, right in our faces and over familiar. Half way through taking our order she turned to a big table next to us and started talking to them, then completely forgot what we had ordered. I ordered a bottle of pilsner and they served a stout and walked off, got all funny when I took it back. Some kind of Manager came over and said ‘we sold out of pilsner and that’s the nearest we have!’ I asked what else they had and he said Guiness! I asked if he knew the difference between lager and stout, he got shirty and offered me a pale ale, complimentary. Starter of ribs and wings were very nice, moorish. Coconut chicken was greasy, Mac and cheese was terrible I’d be surprised if this is not bought in and microwaved had no flavour or seasoning, I could taste flour. 1/2 Jerk chicken so dry I couldn’t swallow it, we didn’t get offered/served another drink during the meal, 15 minutes empty glasses. Worst meal in Cheltenham for a long long time.

Dinner with my daughter was going well last night but then my spare ribs arrived slightly burned for my taste. The waitress returned my meal to the chef and replaced it with a more than satisfactory rack of ribs. The waitress Paige along with management went the extra mile and even arranged for the ribs to be removed from my bill. Great team and great food. Well managed

Food was lovely. Happy hour cocktails always a treat. Service tailed off a bit as the restaurant got busier, had to catch the servers attention to get any service as the evening went on. Would happily return.

I have been to Turtle bay on many different occasions (Work Christmas meal, Couples date night, Girls night out, Bottomless brunch). I have never had a bad experience (from the staff), the only ever negative time I've had was when we were seated behind a VERY loud table of young girls, which is obviously nothing to do with Turtle bay! The cocktails are amazing and the food is super delicious! Its a great starting place for a night out, because there's 2 for 1 cocktails!!

Me and a friend went on new years eve and did their nye deal where we got 3 courses and bottomless cocktails for 2 hours all for £48 each. It was really good and we definitely got our moneys worth. The staff were very friendly and good at asking us if we wanted to order more drinks, they even let us order some to come after we finished the ones we were currently drinking. The food was amazing and the range of drinks was great. I was very impressed and would definitely go again.

Really nice food. Different from what I'm used to, but great place to try something new. It's a funky place for a date, a romantic meal or friends birthday. Excellent staff too.

Great food, great staff. Portions are really small which is a shame, but the menu is really different. Loads of non spicy stuff as well as the usual jerk recipes.Really uncomfortable tables though. I get that it's the style they are going for, but it feels like stepping into a shanty town, and everything wobbles, so good luck not annoying whoever sits opposite.Toilets are a total disgrace, like nightclub toilets, dingy, unclean and smelling foul. Toilets are also up a flight of stairs but there is a disabled one on the ground floor.Music way too loud, so it's impossible to have a conversation unless someone is right next to you. Again, part of the vibe, but something to bear in mind because it's not classy or refined, but it's not trying to be.Drinks menu is really good, with 2 for 1 cocktails at certain times, and the alcohol free cocktails are pretty inventive too.I've got a pet peeve with places that serve burgers that are impossible to eat, and this is one of them. Way too tall, not wide enough, and as soon as you take out the wooden skewer the whole thing collapses into a pile of ingredients. Bit of a giveaway if the only way your burger stays together on the plate is if it's treated like a vampire. The food and the staff are probably the main things though and they're both spot on!
