Yo! Sushi Cheltenham in Cheltenham

We love the food here, they are well prepared and delicious. Thanks for it! Maybe a minor feedback, when we ordered sushi today we noticed that there were no chopsticks. We do not order food from outside very often, we do it on special occasions, so we care the quality of food and service. Unfortunately, sushi was not enjoyable without chopsticks.

Always great value for a lunch and great fast service, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes even for hot food. Couldn't recommend YO! Sushi more to anybody who likes Japanese food, a cheaper and more convenient experience than Wagamama.

It offers an experience like what you will see in Asia: you order your food through a website and a conveyor will bring it to you. It is efficient and more restaurants should use it. The portions are on the small side and the quality is ok. I missed hot drinks on the menu - I enjoy drinking green tea. Dessert options are available but limited (but no mochi or green tea ice-cream). Staff is friendly and helpful.

First time here and we really enjoyed it. Nice staff, great food and easy to order.

We used to come to Yo! at least once a week! The staff were so friendly and the food was great! But since the pandemic, they have taken a lot of the items off the menu (the best bits). I have been back a few times since, but the menu is still limited so i don't think i will be back for a while..

Went without a booking but the Waiter was not fazed, very polite and efficient. He talked us through how it worked using the conveyer belt system of green light when your food had arrived and yellow when it was on its way etc. After ordering he came to check on us twice to make sure we were okay, and very impressed with his knowledge of the menu. Atmosphere very friendly and very clean. Will definitely visit this branch of Yo Sushi again.

So sick of not being able to get a table here, I am not exaggerating when I say it has now been well over a year of trying and every time is the same - half the tables empty but apparently the restaurant is fully booked.Big sushi fan and I know Yo does great food but if I am continually denied because of Cheltenham idiots block booking all the tables and then not turning up then I have no choice but to write a bad review.

Have loved sushi for many years and convinced my daughter to try some...she's converted. We will.be making this a regular go to place in our shopping trips to Cheltenham. If you've never tried sushi ..go and give it a whirl you won't regret it.

Well located in the centre of town. Wide selection of all sushi available both on the belt and pre-prepared in the fridge. Friendly and quick service from staff who took the time to understand my requirements and ensure they were met. Very fresh sushi that also holds together well and good value for money overall. Highly recommended!

Went there for late lunch with my friends. Very disappointed. Service was very slow only one waitress running around covering whole restaurant. She was working hard tho but just needs to learn how to prioritise things. Food arrived quickly. However, there were no chopsticks or napkins. After 10 mins we had to asked for chopsticks and napkins couple times before it actually arrived. The worse part was the portions much smaller than they used to be. The salt and garlic squid was wayy too salty. We talked to the Chef, he said they can offer us a new one however, it will taste the same as he cooked from the recipe. We declined it obviously. All four of us still agreed it was very salty. The Chef must have doubled the amount of salt in it. We left most of the Salted Squid on the table. Maybe they might have a good try of what we had left to see how salty it was, of course if they’re care or professional enough.
