Yuen Wah House in Cheltenham

I have been using this Chinese for years and have loved it but unfortunately I had a meal from there over the jubilee weekend and my whole family got food poisoning. So disappointing and unfortunately I can't bring myself to order from them again. I really hope they find the source of the problem and get it sorted.

Really is the best Chinese food in taste but I have couple times now had severe diarreah. So guessing it’s food poisoning such a shame because it does taste good

I've ordered from this place loads of times but the last 2 times I've had food poisoning from there so I would not recommend anymore. Used to be good but sadly it's gone downhill.

Haven't ever eaten from this takeaway before but after reading the rather mixed reviews we decided to give it a try.We phoned and the order was ready in 10-20 minutes. The food was cheap and the portions were a good size.Everything tasted great and was still very warm after a 15min walk outside in cold weather.Man on the phone was very helpful and the whole call for the order was completed in less than 2mins.Will be ordering again for sure.

Ordered new years eve at 19 05, was told collection was 1 hour 10 minutes, and delivery was 2 hours 10 minutes. We chose collection and arrived at 20 15, which the food was not ready. A customer was in there being told another 5 minutes when he'd ordered at 18 55. He said he'd be back in 15 minutes as he didn't believe it would actually be 5. 20 minutes later that customer came back and had to wait another 10 minutes for his food. I didn't leave until 21 20 with my food, which wasn't even worth the wait, the chicken was undercooked, the only nice part was the fries. I understand the night was obviously going to be busy but this should have been prepared for and limted the numbers of orders as they took orders from walk in telling them it would be 1 hour.

food quality just isn't consistent. First time ordering was good, second time wasn't sure if it was food poisoning so we ordered again this time and another person has got what looks like food poisoning. Everything overcooked and chewy, duck in the chicken chow mein, just all off and weird.

Good food, good service, well priced

Very fast service, polite and accommodating. Food looks great and tastes great if a little salty at times.Nice food, prepared well and good portions, i would recommend this takeaway.
