Zizzi - Cheltenham in Cheltenham

Loved my experience at Zizzi’s. I went after work and felt so relaxed and welcomed. The staff were so understanding and all had a great personality. Sophie cared for my allergy really well and offered great customer service. She offered me food I didn’t know I would like and did an amazing job giving me the best experience. 100% recommend this place and the staff who work there. 😁😁

Arrived 19:45 Thursday 17th March.1.Pasta over cooked2. Pasta sauce no flavour3. Was told the meal had come out of the‘Pizza oven’. Unlikely.4. Lemon and garlic chicken completely flavourless.5. Free ‘pasta chips’, good job they were free.Overall: horrendous

Oh no! I used to give this place 4 stars on a bad day, I don't know if brexit has affected the supply of ingredients etc but the food doesn't taste as good, the portion sizes have gotten smaller. A server told me the chefs don't have access to all the ingredients they used to have so they are having to improvise more. Last few experiences have been really disappointing. Not ready to give up yet but they need to listen to the customer, I feel I can't be alone in seeing the decline.

Venue was lovely, food was good quality and would happily go to a different zizi restaurant. It was such a shame about the very slow and uninterested staff, no smiles, so unhelpful and not observant at all. They spent most of the time chatting. We waited ages to be seated, nobody came to take our order so we had to call someone over, left with dirty plates for a while and nobody came to check the food was ok.

We booked for a table of 7 and were given only 6 sets of cutlery and chairs. Lights turned off twice whilst we were eating, side dishes did not arrive until well after we had finished eating. The app then automatically added a service charge. Real shame as previously had a lovely time.

Most amazing birthday meal. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the manager was gracious. Highly recommend. Random Act of kindness!

A group of 5 on a Friday night. We waited 40 minutes for our starters to come and only 1 arrived but the mains were wonderful and cooked amazingly. Service was awful though and the remaining starters never arrived despite asking 4 different servers where they were who never responded to our questions about their whereabouts.

Lovely venue in an old church, the staff were generally very friendly. However the food was significantly overpriced and poor value. The pizza was good, but the other pasta dishes lacked taste. Wouldn't go again.

Sat down at 12:30 for lunch. Food arrived 45 mins later. Just us and two other tables. Quite a bit not on the menu, what we ordered was nice enough. Unusual interior.

Great food and super lovely staff in the Cheltenham branch. Noise just a little overwhelming when sitting towards the middle of the old church building.
