Beefeater Grill in Christchurch

Not the best Beefeater that I have been to. The main problem that was obvious to myself and other customers was that there was simply not enough staff to manage the huge amount of tables spread across the restaurant. The staff that were working there deserve a positive mention as they obviously care, but there was no way they could serve everyone as well as they would like to.

The waitressing staff were very friendly and understanding. I had asked for the Chick 'n'grill which is on the burger menu but to have the bun separate (to be given to another on my table) and this was done very well with the garnish still presented well without the bun

How on earth can you not even cook a steak!Crumbs and food on the seats to old food covered hand prints on the screen next to us; in times on covid surely clean would of been is a bare minimum.New menu changes to abysmal and disappointing from start to finish. At one point we even discussed leaving, I could of cleaned better then that with my eyes shut.I cloud go on but I think point made…Not sure what is going on here, but I challenge you to invite me back!

The food was very nice, I had the ribs & my wife had the chicken melt. It was a meal of opposites, large portion of ribs very small chicken!The starter of the pate was ok, but why do they give you so much pate, but hardly any bread to eat it with!!The waitress was very attentive, and looked after us well. Enjoyed our visit.

Nice ambiance. Great service. Easy parking. Food was very tasty and good value. Sadly my meal was luke warm, but the other 3 meals were fine. Only disappointment was the Banoffee Sundae, which is approx 70% waffle and it was hard to get to the ice cream. I recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding, but they were out when we visited.

Not impressed in the slightest. Very expensive for what it is. Out of stock of many items so ended up getting a lesser amount for a higher cost (not the cheapest meal out). Boiled potatoes were disgusting so got substituted for roast potatoes (as shown). Meat was the best part but regret coming here for sure.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Has yo be one of the bests meals, the steak was so amazing, tender and perfectly cooked, you get unlimited coke and unlimited chips. The staff were so polite, fast and couldn't have done any better. Todays experience is one of the best I have ever had!!! Keep.uo the good work and we will definitely be back:)

Not quite pleased with the served breakfast. It was £9 something all you can eat breakfast. The website advertised several things that were obviously missing (to write a few: chocolate and blueberry muffins, fruit salad). We ordered a veggie sausage and were served pork ones, thankfully we confirmed before eating. The juices served were Sunpride boxed ones that are made out of concentrate. For £9 a person I would at least expect a juice which is from fruits and not concentrate. The choice of fruits on the counter were few with just a green apple and two oranges in the basket. The staff was polite and helpful though. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for breakfast buffet.
