Beautiful place, specially today, where we had all four seasons in the space of four hours. Our two dogs love it too. One climbs and plays on the dry sand, the other loves the water and to lay down and observe.Perfect parking, and nice café.Today we had the privilege to see little rabbits grazing as they enjoyed the sunshine.

Nice views, polite staff but the food was awful and expensive. £8.50 for a kid's meal (see pic with green peas). Chips were very oily like they were re-purposed. Sausages were unpleasant to eat. We paid an extra £3.50 for a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and a flake. I had soup of the day with bread. It was a small bowl and bread without butter: £6. My chai latte was a whopping £4.50 (considering the taste and size). You can see how much we paid in total for a skimpy meal for two. If you're visiting Highcliffe beware of this "restaurant".

Four of us met for breakfast and coffees before going for a walk along the cliff tops. As always the team/staff were excellent as was the food which included full English. Our bill came to £60 but I thought having to pay an additional £1 each to have baked beans added was cheesy. We had to sit in the enclosed outside part of the restaurant because our friends brought their dog. It was very cold in this dining area because of the strong winds outside and no heating was provided in this part hence the breakfasts were cold before we finished them. Just a little additional thought by the owners would be appreciated and we still love this place.

My Grandson and his lovely Partner took me here for possibly the best scones I've ever eaten, cream, strawberry jam and a pot of tea. The tables were socially distanced, the serving staff wore masks and there was a lovely atmosphere overlooking the sea. The scones - one fruit, one plain - were warm, light and very tasty! I did glance at the menu for future reference and the meals were varied, traditional and a little more sophisticated and well worth another visit to sample more! An excellent place to visit with friendly staff and delicious meals

Many thanks for excellent service and food for 15 people today enjoying your Christmas lunch menu. We were really looked after well with a personal touch. We had an area of the restaurant to ourselves which was wonderful. Can't thank you enough. Covid precautions were excellent for staff and customers. Thank you again for going the extra mile

Trying a new place for a Sunday morning breakfast. This is a very busy restaurant, but good service and has views of the coast from the cliff top it is on. Parking was easy and free in low season. Food was well cooked and presented. Take contactless cards, and you can (and probably should) book a table! Will come again for lunch or dinner next time.

We had a lovely meal. Great food and staff were very friendly; they found some chalks so the kids could do some colouring in. There are absolutely beautiful views from the restaurant and surrounding areas. Parking is pay and display via cash or mobile phone.

Very tasty Fish and Chips. Beautiful views. Some of the dishes on the menu are quite expensive. We have tried famous Dorset apple cake (price approx. £2.95 for the piece), however we would not buy that cake again. It taste like fruit cake. We could not taste the apples. Disappointing. Everyone is different so some people would enjoy.

Great place to go to, can easily recommend for anyone! Lovely food, great cocktails, decent prices, and friendly staff. All topped off with a picturesque view of the cliffs, sea and beach. Very accommodating and helpful with my partner's dietary requirements
