Donninno Takeaway in Christchurch

Under new management - I had their doner with chilli sauce and wasn't impressed, the sauce in particular was just dreadful and the meat was undercooked, we've also had their chicken shish and though it was cooked fine it tasted of being cooked on a grill that perhaps hadn't been cleaned too well - it had that acrid burnt taste on the charred bits. We'll probably stick with them for a little while as they're still better than the local alternatives but it's shame it's gone downhill, hopefully they can recapture what it used to be like.

Local kebab and pizza shop. Great kebabs and good value for money

5/5 For sure! We are a family of 6, 5 of us had kebab. Not dripping in grease, no crispy burnt bits, just a really nice kebab. 2 of us has had large, perfect portion, not feeling so stuffed you can't move, the bottomless pit (teen boy) had a medium and was satisfied (makes a change!) And 2 little girls had a medium to share, it served them well with a bit left for the dog! There were generous servings of sauce on them too (burger sauce was delicious!) The last one had popcorn chicken and chips. The chicken was soft in the middle and lightly crisp on the outside not hard and dry, makes a nice change from the tooth breakers we have tried in the past! The chips were good too! Not hard or reheated numerous times. So food overall very very nice, tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked.Delivery, took about 25/30 mins from ordering it to it being on the doorstep! The driver was friendly and polite.No items missing. And food was hot on arrival.We will be ordering from you again. Thank you for our lovely meal.

Have ordered from here more times than I could keep track of and never had a bad meal until today, the portion size for a "large" didn't even fill the pitta and my usual kebab which I pay an extra £1 for cheese on may aswell have had none, phoned just to let them know it was a bit below par and was met with denial and a pretty rude guy (I wasn't going to ask for any money back, an apology would have done), which again hasn't happened before but won't bother ordering from there again...

We tried (what we lovingingly now call Donnie's at home) Don Ninno's on a whim just before lockdown and we keep coming back. We always get great service (allright, one order had something missing but we're all human - and it was put right on the next order) and everyone is always friendly, whether they're on the phone, serving in store or delivering.I can't recommend them highly enough.

The food here is amazing & every delivery the food is piping hot!We have been a customer for quite along time now, to the point when we ring they know our order just by saying our home address! Absolutely disgusting, we decided to try a different restaurant, and prices were good. HOWEVER food was undercooked, chips were soggy, and burger tasted strange. So all went into the bin, let alone my fiancées burger was incorrect. And with my mother on palliative care and cannot afford to get ill, god for bid she doesn't this is disgusting and will be reporting.

Awful service. Ordered through just eat, after 1 hour 30 mins called the restaurant. At 1st told they didn't have my order then told they were busy will be another 10 mins. Of course I have no choice, if i cancel I have to re order somewhere else and wait even longer. Was offered some free drinks as it was late. Order arrived no free drinks, driver had to the go back and returned with 2 small cans of coke. 1 he 45 min wait to then have to re heat both kebabs. Glad I dont live near here so will therefore not use again anyway.

Never have they not been polite to me especially the lady who works there (keep forgetting her name 🤦🏻‍♂️ lol) who is always sweet and kind and knows what I want. The delivery driver is always friendly and polite which makes the service double great. Food is always good and hot and I've recommended these guys to friends and family. Even popped in there once and they were very friendly. 👍👍
