We had a wonderful stay at the Fisherman's Haunt Hotel! We had a warm welcome and a really pretty room, where a bowl and treaties for our dog Charlie were waiting. 🐕 The whole staff is absolutely gorgeous with dogs and the dinner and breakfast situation is wonderful, because the dog is allowed under the table. 👏🐕 The food is so delicious and extraordinary, there are no "boring" dishes on the menu. The Chef Mark has really great talent and our server Lizzie was really the friendliest! We can truly recommend the stay and if we would have had more time, we would have stayed longer. 😊📷 We will be back

Children shouting and allowed to run around inside is not relaxing (And I'm a parent and teacher!).Also barman served a male customer before my wife even though she had clearly been waiting longer. Maybe just an oversight?Beer was excellent though, toilets clean, and good looking menu. I appreciate that not everything is within power of the staff. Maybe some parents need to be a little more aware of the impact of their children.

Fabulous find. To be honest, I was dubious about a Fullers pub as a hotel. More fool me! Just spent 2 night weekend here. Really friendly staff, great breakfasts, decent menu in the evening and portions are huge! Room (we were in the main building) was large, well appointed and very very comfortable. A few special little touches really struck home - flask of cold fresh milk for your in-room tea and coffees (Nespresso or coffee bags with matching choccies no less).

Great pub and place to stay, always been a bit skeptical of staying in a bar but lovely rooms, great breakfast and the staff could not be more lovely

I booked a room at the Fisherman's Haunt as it was close to a wedding venue, perhaps that's why it's expensive at £165 for the room I stayed in. I arrived after midday having checked in on-line as requested to speed things up, so I asked if I could have the key to my room. If I wanted the key, I would have to pay £20 early check-in fee, which applies before 3pm.On a point of principal I wasn't going to pay an additional £20. I explained that the wedding was at 2pm, so perhaps I could collect the key at the end of the evening. Nope, You can't collect keys after 11pm apparently. I wasn't impressed either, that I was told this was clearly stated on the website (it isn't as far as I can see) and its "company policy". It smacks of unnecessary profiteering. In the end I went to the wedding ceremony keyless, and returned at 2.55pm to check in, and then went back to the wedding venue.I've never knew there was such a thing as an early check-in fee, and I was disappointed that there was no attempt to help or make allowances, there wasn't a check to see if the room was ready (not that I would have used it as I only wanted the key for later).Room was OK when I eventually got to see it, although definitely over priced.

I work away from Monday to Friday and travel the whole country staying in hotels and I can say as soon as I got into my bed, it was the most comfortable bed I've ever. The rooms are clean, tidy and stylish. The beers are crisp and fresh and the food is fantastic and high quality. The pub has a cosy friendly atmosphere with lots of character. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive. There is a the river avon close by so I can imagine there's some good walk to endure should be your thing.Highly recommend!Would suit.. polite clienteleWould not suit.. load and bolshy groups.

Lovely room, warm, comfy and clean, great staff, a friendly professional welcome. Knocked off a star for the lack of any fresh veg with my meal. Everything seemed freezer to plate.

Amazing Helpful Staff who went the extra mile to help me in a time of difficulty Pedro The Manager was so helpful! The food is very good quality and the rooms immaculate and I was surprised by the high standard of decoration and furnishings and they are The Most Dog Friendly place I have stayed in! They even have dog bowls for rooms and free dog treats!

We had a lovely Sunday roast here, taste was lovely, absolutely delicious, but I can not give more then 3stars because 1-1little piece of carrots and parsnip and 3 pieces of roasted potatoes with some soaky Yorkshire pudding on a giant plate for that price!? I thought someone stole half of my portion... plus we had to wait at least half an hour for the bill.

We've been visiting this pub for more than a decade and it continues to be a good value, friendly option that's open for food, even on a Sunday evening. Our latest visit was at short notice on a Sunday evening. A quick telephone call confirmed they were still serving food and we were greeted by helpful and friendly staff.. this is a Fuller's pub, so decent real ale is a given. Great, tasty shepherds pie and gammon steak. Decent portions. If there's a criticism, it's the change of focus towards vegetarian options, which meant the only pie available was sweet potato.
