Love the location. We paddle boarded to get to the pub had a few bears. Lovely place to chill out for a pint and have a light lunch

·

Lack of baby facilities changingCouncil run baby change facility has been “out of action for past 2 months” according to front of house cafe staff.Good to see the extortionate car park fees being returned in to the local area - VNC

Really fresh cooked food quickly brought out to you. Busy when we went so a bit of a queue to order but usually queue is only a few minutes. Great views over Christchurch harbour and Mudeford quay. Reasonable pricesThey've been serving inside for a few months now, it's a small friendly pub with real fires in winter. Great for locals and visitors.

·

Overcharged us so questioned the price and he tried charging us £14.50 for sausage and chios, when chips is £3.50 and a sausage was £1 the portion size for a large chips and fish was ridiculous and swimming in grease

My wife and I both like this pub, located right near the end of the quay, it's great in the summer sitting outside, whilst indoors, although compact is clean and nicely decorated. The staff, quality of the beer and wine is excellent, and the couple of times we have eaten here the food has been very good.

Rope grown muscles with lemonade. Absolutely incredible after a long walk. Windy and cold outside, walked in to a cosy bar with nice relaxing atmosphere. Will be back.

Such a friendly and welcoming pub with lovely log fires in the winter and an outside terrace when it's hot. The food is excellent. Checkout the daily home made pie, curries and great fish and chips. Dogs are welcome but no children inside. Best to phone before going because sometimes closed even when the website says open.

Ordered the seafood platter for £30 and the staff laughed as they bought over a whole tray of reconstituted, processed finger food straight from Iceland frozen isle, deep fried in week old oil. Freshest item was the decorative lettuce. The fish and chips were ok i guess. The "calamari rings" were just a mysterious paste inside, not real squid. The "filo prawns" had a random prawn tail stuck to the end to make it look like real prawn but inside was just more mysterious fish paste. Worst food I've ever been served at a restaurant. Had indigestion for the rest of the day, but I guess that's my fault for eating it.

We called in twice this week. Monday we both had a pint of local. We sat in side the pub because it was extremely breezy and dark. We enjoyed the beer and decided to return later that week.We arrived at 9.30pm on a Thursday to be greeted with the lights been turned off and a member of staff leaving. We was told the pub was shut for the night!!! 9.30pm!!! On a Thursday. Hence the low stars. Same

Poor service and worse food; we had mussels in a lukewarm sauce, overcooked tuna and a seafood platter consisting of frozen, deep fried and flavourless leftovers. Management offered a complimentary dessert by way of apology, which never arrived. There are much better places to go in the area.
