Pinocchio's in Christchurch

Haven’t been to this restaurant for a long time , many years infact and wow it hasn’t changed in the slightest. Beautiful authentic Italian at its best, outstanding food attentive service and very reasonable, this place has it all atmosphere , service and beautiful food , can’t wait to return for my birthday in April

I had Mussels as a starter, very small portion even for a starter. Then a 10inch tuna pizza 🍕. I know there are different styles and thickness of dough, but this was the thinness I've ever had. Just O.K. not impressed.

Very good authentic Italian restaurant. I do recommend the the Pinocchio pizza. I Will definitely go again.

Great ambiance with that authentic Italian feel, Pinocchio offers a reasonable range of Italian meals. The speciality dishes were delicious. The standard pasta dishes where okay for the price. While none of our party had the pizzas, they smelt and looked delicious.

We were given the window seat which is quite a drafty area so try to avoid.My cannelloni was delicious. My partner's portion of arrabiata was quite small and there was hardly any bacon in it. The dessert selection was scarce but we enjoyed what we ordered.Can't comment on the pizza.The service was polite and professional.

Chose Pinochios for a famuly meal as it is a traditional italian Pizza. No issues about the food, it was promptly served and reasonably priced. Why the 4-stars... the background music can only be described as a poor taste din, and some of the decor and pictures are dated, faded and worn... pictures drawn by children now faded and only suitable for the bin. I will book here again, as things like decor can be overlooked for good food...

Wow!! It was still stuck in the 1980's in everyway unfortunately and not cheap. I understand its family run and they may have loyal customers but I wouldn't go back there. There are far too many Pinocchios around the furniture is extremely dated. The food was even worse which is a shame because of the location if it was brought into 2021 it could be the perfect Italian unfortunately for us it didn't even come close 🙏😔

This was poor pizza experience for the prices they charge, I have dined at Italian restaurants for years but this really was an looked liked frozen pizza being baked. Staff was nice, nothing bad to say about them except the chef who really should listen to what the customers say especially when you have the returned pizza back for inspection.

Came across Pinochio by accident after looking for a non-chain restaurant to have an evening meal. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious. We loved the authentic and Disney themed interior of the restaurant. Probably the best Italian I've ever had.
