Pizza Hut in Christchurch

Well all I can say is I will definitely be returning ☺ mixed my order up by accident only very small mix up but rang up and they completely re made my order and let us keep the old one and gave me a free ice cream to say sorry. Lovely customer service on the phone and by the delivery driver too .. definitely turned an unhappy situation into a happy one quickly.

Really hit-and-miss honestly.I’ve had both positive and negative experiences with this place before. There have been times when we’ve ordered pizza and it has come two hours later than originally said via the online tracker (not exaggerating - it was *literally* two hours and we were soooo hungry as well 😩) and then other times it’s been delivered no problem 🤷🏼‍♂️Although I remember one time I phoned up because the pizza was taking ages and the guy said ‘yeah it’s just left and is on its way to you now boss man’ and I was like ‘ah sick cheers’, and then waited 50 minutes (we live a 7 minute drive away), phoned back and was like ‘yeah so about that pizza…’ and was told by the same guy the same thing ‘nah yeah it’s actually just left sorry about the wait yeah’, and then it proceeded to arrive 25 minutes later.I’m vegetarian and so Pizza Hut, I’ve found, offers the nicest veggie pizza toppings so I’m sort of stuck with them if I want a nice pizza and sort of have to sacrifice customer experience hahaI think at the end of the day, I’ve never had a pizza delivered to me that isn’t hot and banging 🤤 and to be fair, it is a chain pizza store so the people working there are probably doing a lot more than what they get paid for so if you aren’t desperately hungry and have nothing in the house then I’d say go for it but beware of the risk you are taking (although I have read reviews of people saying they got ill after having a pizza from here and I’ve never had an issue like that at all - I’ve no doubt all the food is prepared hygienically)This is such a long review haha so I’m gonna leave it here and trust that you are now happy and able to make an informed decision about getting your dinner from here or another place 👌

Terrible staff. Asked for extra chilli peppers was told I couldn’t. Embarrassing really how can you not put extra chilli peppers on a pizza. I’m not surprised pizza huts are closing down because of stupidity like this. I will not order again.

Absolutely shocking delivery, twice in the last month it's taken nearly 2 hours for delivery and when it arrived it was luke warm. They also don't answer their phone. Won't be using this branch again.

Absolutely shocking service, I pre-ordered a meal at around 5:15 to be delivered 6:30 (plenty of time one would expect...) Waited til 7 and it still hadn't arrived so tried to call the restaurant and no one wants to answer the phone (I guess because it rings constantly with irate customers) 7:30 nothing still so I drove over to the restaurant only to be ignored for 5 minutes by the staff. Once acknowledged he had a look around to see if it was there, then told me it's out for delivery... But alas here I am, writing this at 8:10 eating a Domino's that was ordered and delivered within 30 minutes.Do yourself a favour order an independent spot, Domino's, Papa John's as you'll actually receive what you order!Let's see if this useless company now drag their feet processing a refund.

The worst customer service experience ever!! Pizza order was wrong, so phoned up and 59 calls later they picked up to say another would be sent out straight away and be with you in 10 mins. I waited 1 hour, so phoned again and 30 minutes of phoning I finally got through and spoke to the manger and he said it was sent to the wrong house and another will be sent out straight away. 1 hour later I phone about to see where it was and he said there are closing soon so won’t have enough time to make it!!! So all in all I waited 3 hours 40 minutes for a pizza that was never going to turn up. Asked for a refund, so let’s see how that goes.

Ordered at 5.30pm, pizza came but it was the wrong order, phoned 29 times, no one answered. Went down there at 6.15pm, told it will be send out. 7.30pm, still no pizza, phoned again to be told it was sent but they will resend. 9.15pm. Phoned again to be told they are now shut and won’t be getting pizza. We will never use Pizza Hut again!! Avoid at all costs. Rude, obnoxious staff, hung up on us 3 times. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Customer service was great. Pizza was delicious and well cooked. I ordered the gluten free base with vegetarian toppings. Arrived in good time too.

Very friendly staff, excellent pizzas exactly the way we wanted them, as always. Just make sure you get the garlic sprinkles on your pizza, they are the best thing ever.

Costumer service contacted me more than a week after my first order! My issue was not resolved on the day and the staff was extremely rude, in fact, they refused to give me the drink for which I had paid, due to my delay (of which I had informed them several times and they assured me that it would not be a problem) and the type of offer I chose when ordering online.I will not use this Pizza Hut again in the future.
