Saxon Bar in Christchurch

Great micropub. Shame I only had time for a quick visit.

Excellent beers and atmos. Very friendly and knowledgable landlord.

We have now moved away from Christchurch and we really miss the Saxon in more ways than one. It's friendly welcome and always be able to serve a good stout at the correct temperature along with a wide variety of other beers and gins.

Fantastic little bar, with no actual bar. Brilliant selection of craft ales and ciders.Lots of charm, a warm welcome and knowledgeable staff.Still the best!

What a lovely friendly bar. Great ciders and beers and you can order local takeaway in too what a bonus for a group.

Very good range of speciality beer and ciders. Try one of their paddles (3 third of a pint samples served on a wooden paddle) and ask for a recommendation for a good selection. Always great service.

Great choice of beers, cider and even craft lager. Good atmosphere and staff.

Great little pub with an excellent choice of ever changing real ales. Friendly and beer enthusiastic staff make this a brilliant place to enjoy a few beers. Within walking distance of the train station.
