Well what a lovely meal. Thank you starlight for excellent food and excellent service. Will be back soon.

Visited here for a friend's birthday, we were the only table in and the music kept coming on and going off so made it quite awkward at times. The service was great and the server was very friendly. Most pf the food we ordered was alot spicier than expected and the naan bread was very dry, as was the rice. Drinks were cheap

I have been to many Indian restaurants and never had such dire service or food. The poppadoms were stale, the starter was swimming in two inches of oil and the main course was inedible. We were asked how our food was by the manager and my friend mention that it was extremely hot. He then proceeded to argue with me after I complained that the food wasn't great and his attitude was horrendous. We had asked him about what to order earlier and his reply was non chalant and he gave the impression that he didn't care. After getting into a swearing match with the manager he then coaxed his other patrons who were on stag do's to swear and throw personal insults about my appearance. I was concerned for my welfare and wanted to call the police and was asked to leave with 10 males standing outside the restaurant, who had just been making personal comments about me. We paid the full amount and left. I've never had such a bad experience in any restaurant I have visited. The manager treated our party like scum, did not try to calm the situation and left me in a situation where I was concerned for my wellbeing. I can't imagine anyone would attempt to take their family or loved ones here. I am still in shock. Go to standard bengal or mela and be treated like a human being. Vile.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, amazing food , amazing everything, great place to go with friends or family , will be coming back here :) Ignore Mr Bryant review - complete joke he is

Ate in the restaurant again and loved it, nice atmosphere, good food and friendly service, well recommended, so glad after my last review although we haven't tried a takeaway from them again.....previous review follow..... Have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and it was very nice so we were very disappointed with the takeaway we had. Two of the currys were very average and the Jalfrazi was swimming in oil that I had to tip off into a bowl to make it edible. Onion bahji was cold and chewy as were the poppadoms. Shame.

Excellent curry house, Excellent menu, and friendly staff. A beautiful meal was had by my partner and myself, will definitely be back again.

We have had many meals from Starlight over the years and even had it for our Christmas dinner this year . So tonight thought we would have a treat . Ordered the same as always , my husband has chicken Jalfrezi and I have chicken patia and aloo gobie it was so hot and yes I know they are both supposed to be hot , but we could only eat half our meal, all we could taste was the heat and hardly any taste of the spices coming through , on either meal and all you could taste from the alloe Bobbi was garlic, again no real flavour from the spices it’s cooked in. .I hate going on social media so decided to call the restaurant directly just to really advise that the chef seemed to be very heavy handed with his chillis spoiling his meals tonight ,so I was a bit disappointed at the response I had from I presume the management as he basically said if I order a meal that’s supposed to be hot then I should put up with it . I told him I’d not phoned to get a free meal out of the phone call but to just point out that We couldn’t eat our meals . Won’t be going back. shame!!!

Great dinner ! Fantastic food,nice atmosphere and the staff very friendly and attentive. It was a excellent experience! Lovely ,tasty ,impressive Indian cuisine!

Will never return to this restaurant. Very bad tempered, arrogant and rude owner. Food ok but meat not marinated, just chunks of chicken in a sauce. Average size portions. Definitely much better places to eat.
