The Beach Hut Cafe in Christchurch

Been here for coffees, chips and ice cream before but not a proper meal. Good veggie all day breakfast and bacon butties. Nice location on the beach and good prices. Decent range of fresh cakes as well.

My food was nice, my son's not so much with what I can only describe as a charcoaled piece of cheese.Staff were friendly, but the ultimate kicker is the bill costed the same price as eating in Prezzo :o

Nice coffee and good selection of cakes. Home made sausage rolls are delicious. Has outdoor seating to admire the sea .

Very quick service. Friendly staff. Tasty food with wide menu. Value very good. Love it.

Went there today for mince pies and a cuppa. All proceeds went to charity. Staff were volunteers. Watched the Christmas day swimmers take a dip. Had a nice stroll along the sea front. Nippy but nice. A good way to spend Christmas morning.

Very sweet place. Staff organised and efficient. The queues were a bit long for us and it was difficult getting a table as there were few! Good enough for a spot by the sea 🌊.The ice creams were generous if a trifle expensive! Worth going to. 👏

Not the best food, I opted for a fish finger burger, got a bun with two pieces of tomato and a slice of lettuce, both fresh. 3 fish fingers and some rather overcooked chips. Service was fast and friendly, the food was very plain and a little boring. Excellent location and a nice place to be.

This is a small café which I've been going to for many years, particularly for the bacon sandwiches. Indoor seating is limited, but there are outdoor tables. I always take mine away to one of the nearby promenade benches. The staff are very friendly and obliging.

Great all day breakfasts at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and fantastic view.
