Perfect place for a family!I cannot thank the staff at 'The Globe' enough! We had a big family of 9 and had a few picky eaters who changed lots of the menu items but they took it in their stride. The staff were so friendly and attentive, couldn't do enough for you!The food was great and very reasonably priced! Even cheaper if you've got a 'Blue Light Card'!And the quiz they had there was a lot of fun too 😃Thank you everyone for a lovely time 😊

Wonderful food. A relaxing place to have a meal, but the do also do quizzing nights and the music can be quite loud, so make sure that isn't on if you're looking for peace and tranquillity. The decor is wonderful and so is the back garden. Really nicely laid out.Staff are very helpful and it's a good place to spend the evening or afternoon.

Popped in for lunch. Food was delicious and good price too. Lots of great choice on the menu. Toby our waiter was brilliant, friendly, attentive, talkative and professional...... definitely be going back 😁😁👍👍

Ideal family pub. Went with my elderly parents and husband. The staff were very accommodating as my mum has mobility problems and let us sit in a position close to the amenities. Friendly staff, reasonable food and good service.

It's a Premier Inn and therefore not too much to add. Food & Service of a good standard and reasonably priced. There is ample parking and the Pub itself although dating back to the 19th century has been tastefully extended and adapted to modern everyday requirements. It's a good place to meet friends and hold business meetings. There is a lot of competition in the area for similar eating establishments but the Globe is probably the best in its niche between fast food takeaways on the one hand and gastro pubs on the other. Altogether a satisfying place to meet, where the "company" is more important than the food & drink consumed.

Embarrassingly poor food with long waits. We were a group of 8 and no one had nice meal. This was the cheeseburger, as served. The burger had dried out, the chips were cold and I thought a seagull had pooped on the plate. Very disappointing

Lovely friendly pub. Just had a perfect tia maria floater coffee. Garden at the rear and tables outside at the front. Very clean bathrooms. Lovely interior decor. Great food. Fantastic breakfast for residents staying in the attached Premier Inn Hotel & breakfast available to public non-staying guests. Highly recommended.

Terrible food, with outrageous waits. It would appear they’re just not being given the the budgets for staff that they need. Charging an extra 50p per plate would easily allow for enough staff. Profit grabbing embarrassment, with zero respect for customers or their staff. Awful

Popped in for an evening family meal, to take advantage of some vouchers. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was very tasty. We’ve been to this restaurant numerous times and you generally always get the same level of service, comfort and quality. Reasonable cost and a nice evening overall.

A very reasonable place. Next to a premier Inn. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was quite reasonable, couldn't fault it. Service was prompt. What more can you ask for.
