The Nelson Tavern in Christchurch

Lovely outside space. Very dog friendly and very pleasant staff. So peaceful after the bustle of Mudeford Quay.

The Nelson has started doing Country theme nights. It was French food this time, excellent food, good decor and table settings. Already booked for the next one.... Italian night! As always excellent service and friendly staff.

Today had lunch at the Nelson Tavern at mudeford with family. Had a lovely meal and a drink, also dog friendly. They gave dog a drink and a treat while we eat. Service very good people here very friendly.Go back again when down that way.

Large pub with good sized restaurant at the back. And a lovely real fireplace to snuggle around. Went for a quick evening dinner fast friendly service. Quite a big menu with a fair amount of choice. Good portion sizes so you won't go hungry. All freshly cooked and good ingredients.

What a great pub to have a nice drink and food - the service was first class and the speed and quality was excellentI would highly recommend the pub and ask you to support this pub 😉

Booked for sunday roast and had an excellent meal & experience. Great Ringwood beer to wash it down, and customer service from the team as the icing on the cake.

We had a lovely family meal here. It was a sunny day and we were able to get a table outside. Our drinks order was taken immediately whilst we were left to study the menu. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable on both drinks and food and was very helpful with some of the requests made. We didn't have to wait long for the food and all six of us were served at the same time. The food was delicious; well prepared, well presented. All this in a lovely setting. First Class.

Lovely pub visit on a damp afternoon. Dogs allowed and very much welcomed with plate of dog biscuits and water bowl ❤️🐶 good beer and nice food to keep us fed and water too. Thank you!
