"At our Flaming Grill pubs we have something for everyone - our pubs are a great place to meet with friends, family and fellow sports fans to enjoy a great range of food and drink. We're famous for flame-grilled food and sizzling skillets. All of our steaks are 28 days matured and there's nowhere better to get a pint when the football's on!"

This is a favourite of ours. The menu is fantastic and great value for money. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Top notch no nonsense grub.

After my visit yesterday, Greene King are all out of chances, I will avoid their establishments from now on. I have complained and written reviews on their pubs several times before and they've replied with apologies and reasons why my experience was so bad. Once again, I was on holiday in a place that was unfamiliar to me struggling to find somewhere to have lunch. I drove past Sandpiper and thought it looked okay and decided to give it a try. Big mistake. Where I live this type of pub is part of the Hungry Horse chain and is about as basic as you can get. The place was tatty and dirty, the food was disgusting and not particularly cheap. My best advice to people is to avoid, unless you are a fan of this type of pub.

It was good, because of the day ( Mothers Day) we had a considerable wait for our food but it was worth it. The Manager could not apologize enough. Would go back for sure.

Large Green King pub with a social atmosphere and a couple of big screens. Outside tables as well in a sunny spot. Good range of beers and drinks including cocktails which are made to order. Wide pub grub menu with vegan and veggie options and good portion sizes. Keen prices with some good offers. Friendly staff and a place to meet and chat.Still the same, busy place.

I like the fact the Sandpiper has a separate GF menu as it makes choosing meals a lot easier than trawling through allergy files. I had a starter portion of nachos as a main meal and it was the perfect size. Hubs had a challenge meal, it looked nicely presented and he said it was tasty. You can't fault the price of the meals. Service at the bar was a bit slow but they have been suffering staff shortages lately so hopefully this will improve. Ladies toilets could do with a bit of maintenance to spruce them up a bit. Overall just glad they are open again and back serving food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this pub. Good value food and very friendly staff. Plenty of screens for football. Beer ok, not a bad pint of Landlord.

We went out here for a drink, but we did not have a meal. There was the added entertainment of a band playing live, which we really enjoyed as they were so good. There was a great choice of wine and beers on tap too. The staff were responsible, the surroundings clean and tidy and the atmosphere was great.

This pub is very big and spacious and all the staff were very friendly and professional. The pub does look a bit tired but don't let that put you off. The 32oz steak share was very nice with a collection sauces. At £20 it was very reasonable. If I had one complaint it took 20 mins to receive our drink. I would definitely recommend this pub to my friends and family.
