The Ship Inn in Christchurch

Great Pan Thai food in the small but nicely done garden. The dog was welcome and some seating outside is covered. Bonus they had HSB on tap. The food pictures are the sharing plater and prawn crackers for 2.

Came in for a drink late afternoon. Barman very nonchalant! Told us every table we were going to sit at was reserved even though place was virtually empty! Think tables must have been booked for evening and not letting anyone sit there. Drinks Very expensive! We are local but wont be returning . Much more welcoming pubs/restaurants in Christchurch

The staff are really good fun in here, food is amazing. Had a big group next to our table which got a bit noisy at times but it's a pub, you've got to expect that. I enjoyed the atmosphere

Fantastic lunch, my partner had the red Thai curry and said it was amazing. I had the duck breast. Big breast and wonderfully crispy. Will def come again.

decided on a whim to visit Christchurch as never been before and having wandered round we called into The Ship for lunch as looked good. Venue, decor and staff all great and menu looks good for an evening meal and lots of people having meals off of it but we decided on a sandwich and drink as lunchtime. The only criticism I have is I had a sandwich, which I will say really tasty, was expecting in white bloomer bread not bread obviously out of a supermarket standard white cut loaf packet. If you're going to put a certain bread on the menu please ensure that's what you serve or at least say that you have run out to give the customer the chance to change their mind. Saying all this would gladly go back to eat there again when in Christchurch.

Took my wife here for a treat. So pleased I did as food was amazing and the cheesecake was best I had ever tasted. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be coming back

We came up from London to see family and popped in to The Ship. Food and drinks were excellent. We definitely recommend the food and the staff were attentive. Thank you for a lovely early evening dinner.
