The Stourvale Pub in Christchurch

Very bad experience one specific member of staff was extremely rude made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the whole visit when we arrived there was beer sticky all over the table we asked for a cloth to wipe it up and my partner went to pick up a tea towel that was on the bar side this employee shouted at him saying dont you use that its for glass wiping! So loud that everyone looked up and she made us feel stupid. We had only just got there and had just ordered food so we decided to stay and have our food however the experience just worsened throughtout when i laughed loudly she looked at me and tutted rolling her eyes we then recieved our food which was extremely bad my partner ordered a rare steak it came and was overcooked and very fatty i ordered nachos with toppings however they forgot to put the meat toppings on and by the time they bought it out me me my partner had already finished eating. The whole experience from start to finish was horrible ive never felt so uncomfortable in an establishment before! Will not be returning and will defintly not be recommending!

Great bar staff very friendly and efficient tables are always clean and ready for next customer, prices are good plus dogs welcome too

Great pub nice Sunday roast, washed down with a pint of Razorback,very reasonable price too.

My local but first time coming in, will come again! Few mix ups with food due to some missing menu items, however the man serving us/on the door was very nice and very helpful with my dairy allergy, which I appreciated. Great member of staff, and a great place.
