Top Wok in Christchurch

Crazy expensive for such small portions of food. In my Tom Yum prawn soup i had two prawn. Taste nice but doesn’t worth the amount you pay. We wont be back

First time ordering with top wok Christchurch. Ordered 5 dishes:Salt and pepper squid - missingTop wok special rice - apparently contained chicken beef pork and prawns. I found 1 prawn, 2 tiddly strips of chicken and no pork.Chicken curry - ordered with no onions and no mushrooms, but contained onions and mushrooms.Kong po special - was correct but of mediocre quality.Singapore style rice noodles - very spicy and very good.Food was ordered over the phone for collection and was ready on time.1 star as only 1 dish was deserving of the star.Shame as top wok ferndown and Parkstone are banging.If your after chineese in Christchurch use Dragon Palace.

We only ever order from Top Wok, we order at least twice per month and normally spend atleast £30 for the 2 of us as we can never decide what to order and always end up getting far too much. This time we ordered slightly less, spending approx £20 and considering how loyal we are, we were quite disappointed that there weren't any complimentary prawn crackers with our order, as there normally are. Food was good as usual, just slightly disappointed I'm afraid.

My family and I have been ordering from Topwok for many years and are very loyal customers, there are a few nearby ones but TopWok is by far the best takeaway we’ve had. We cannot recommend this Chinese takeaway enough. We had ordered on a Saturday night for a party, and everyone loved the salt and pepper chips, as well as the satay chicken. TopWok always meets our expectations and staff are super friendly and understanding. Definitely will be ordering again soon.

Waited 3 hours for cold food with the sauce spilled all over! Not good for a first time customer no refund no replacement ignored when called up

We made a large order for 8 people but unfortunately the Singapore Noodles were so hot we were all unable to eat them.After telephoning to report our experience we were told that because we did not phone the same evening but the next day they were unwilling to do anything about it, it was in effect our fault as we had no proof.All we wanted was some recompense for the noodles out of a £100 order but we were refused. I will not be using them again.

We were a bit put off by the negative reviews, however we ordered over the phone and our food was ready in 10 minutes. As vegetarians there are limited options at other Chinese takeaways however we were impressed by the variety of dishes available.We had the veggie sweet and sour and veggie duck pancakes and both were incredibly delicious and suppassed all expectations and portion sizes were generousOverall will definitely be ordering here again.

Don’t waste your time.Ordered on just eat and they called 20 minutes later after accepting the order to ask me to pay another £5 delivery charge.Suggested as it was an issue on their side and as a gesture of good will that deliver it as per the order.They refused and said the only Solution was pay the £5 or they will cancel the order and I have to get my money back through just eat……….Amazed at how rude the staff towards a customer who has placed an order.

I had to pick a star, however I would’ve chosen 0.I made an order online, they took my money and had my order. Yet when I went to collect my order, they told me the money had not come through. They then told me I would have to wait as they would need to cook it (even though they had it on pre order)I wouldn’t bother wasting your time. Staff couldn’t have cared less, or been more unhelpful.Don’t waste your time or money go somewhere that is worth you money!!!

My family’s go to Chinese Takeaway! Tends to be a little more expensive than most Chinese Takeaways but it’s more than worth it… you get so much food for your money and it is all beautiful! The chicken satay skewers are a must try!
