I really didn’t want to write a negative review, as I love supporting independent businesses. It was my idea to try 108 Coffee House with my friends, as I thought it looked nice online.Im not sure if we just got a bad day, as other reviews seem good! Upon arrival it took ages to order a coffee and when I did it then took a further 15 minutes to get it (even though the lady was just stood behind the machine as it wasn’t busy) I ordered mine with Soya milk but it came with regular dairy milk. Luckily I’m not vegan or have an allergy, or it could’ve been a disaster. The food took forever, 40 minutes in total for 2 yogurt bowls and 2 avocado and egg toasts! When it came it was pleasant, I would’ve been happy with it if it had came quicker.Pricing wise it is expensive for what you get! My avocado toast with eggs and mushrooms cost £11. The extra mushrooms were definitely not worth £2.50 I only got 3.The man who took our orders was lovely though, and the lady who even though messed up my order was nice.Unfortunately I can’t see myself coming back again, maybe for a takeaway coffee as the coffee was delicious👏🏻

Good coffee, great ciabatta rolls and breastfeeding baby friendly!

Fantastic coffee, tea and baked goods. Very friendly staff. If you're in Truro looking for a place to pause your high street walk or Cathedral sight seeing tour, then 108 is a great choice.

Visited this morning for the first time and was asked to take a seat and someone would be over to take my order. The person making the drinks was serving 2 takeaway customers when I arrived so thought he would be over after that but he then proceeded to deal with several more take away customers that arrived after I did. Surely you should serve people in the order they arrive. After waiting 10 minutes I walked out. I did get a thank you but not sure what for as I hadn't had a drink. Doubt I will be returning.

Hidden Gem, my new local!! Amazing music, best coffee and pastries I've had in town and the couple who run it are so amazing. Their brunches with homemade chilli sauce are next level!!

Excellent coffee, delicious avocado on toast (although the egg was a tad over poached) but sadly the prolonged wait and dicey seating does it no favours

Just visiting Truro for the first time and we were searching for some place with decent coffee. And accidentally bounced to this place.. luckily.Absolute gem.. If you are after a good, simple coffee then this is where you need to go. Nice friendly staff and they know what they do and how coffee should taste. Not like the ordinary, tasteless C.. a or N... o. When you try good coffee like this you will not want different and you will always search for such coffee place where ever you be

I didn’t get to try the coffee as no one took my order after I was told to sit down and that someone would be right with me. Usually I’d just wait I’m not in a rush, but the person working served a couple that came in after me, proceeded to make their drinks, have a conversation with someone, and then seemed confused as to why I left.It doesn’t take much just to pop your head over the counter and say oh I won’t be a minute. And although the place looks cool the bench seats are incredibly uncomfortable.
