Been sometime since I last visited the fishmongers, we recently stayed in Falmouth for a few days, and passed by. They were advertising fresh crab sandwiches, so the next day hubby bought some (and some delicious drizzle cake from Tom's Bakery) and we had a fantastic beach picnic. Best crab sandwiches ever, truly a taste of the sea, that you normally only get eating a fresh oyster, highly recommend.

Great service good selection of fish. Monk fish is to die for sword fish and large frozen prawns from the freezer can recommend.

Great choice of freshly caught fish. On the pricey side but worth it. Made a lovely paella with scallops, muscles, crevettes & prawns all from Falmouth Fishmongers

Crab sandwiches disappointing for the price ( £6 each / £10 for 2 ). Regular sliced brown bread, not a very generous filling, and no extra options like salad or mayonnaise. Not freshly prepared to order, prepackaged off the shelf. Would not recommend, though can’t comment on the quality of their fish in general as we only had sandwiches.

Bought crab meat as we wanted fresh and not from a supermarket gentleman that owned shop was very friendly helpful and chatting about fishing locally etc... good quality local fish... keep using to keep our fresh fish shops open In Cornwall

Remember going there back in the 70s one of the oldest fresh fish shops in Cornwall I think always got fresh fish good selection usually lobsters crabs mussels

Nice traditional fishmonger with friendly advice on what's best to barbecue and how to cook it. We enjoyed our 4 huge king prawns.
