Baba Indian Restaurant in Cornwall

This is a gem of an Indian restaurant. Food is delicious, portion sizes are generous. Service was friendly and prompt. Will look forwarding to visiting again.

Made me a bespoke fish and spinach dish with no dairy, was delicious. Entire meal was great and the arrive very respectful and attentive. Family friendly

Not that great tonight. Long wait for takeaway and upon collection very ignorant staff in there 20 mins nobody said a word to us then eventually got the food and the usual dishes we have tasted watered down bland and just not that great. Steer clear to be honest go to bude spice for takeaway

I had travelled from London to Bude for business and had just got to the hotel after a 5 hour drive. Didn't fancy the hotel food so went for a walk and quickly realised everything was shut, including the Bay Leaf. The owners spotting the predicament I was in stopped cleaning up and welcomed me in offering the full menu. Food was amazing, had a selection of starters, Tandoori mixed grill and Keema Naan. Food was hot, came out super quick and the beer was lovely and cold. Conversation was great and the owners were lovely. When I said I was not going to bother them the lady said 'and where are you going to eat? Sit down' which I thought was amazing. Thanks to them both for a lovely welcome and lovely food!!

Superb food. Excellent service. Presentation fab. Staff very polite and efficient. We will be back !!!! Good value as food excellent.

We were told our food had come to £26 and we arrived back to our holiday lodge to find we had been charged £66 and we rang up for a refund but nobody knew how? We’ve been told the refund has been sent but haven’t received anything yet. Food wasn’t great either. Edit- money received 2 days later

Staff very friendly, service excellent. Ordered different starters and multiple mains and some side dishes. All of it was fantastic as very authentic and flavoursome. Would highly recommend this Indian restaurant and will be using again on our next visit to Bude.

Fantastic food, lovely flavours. We really enjoyed our meals and will definitely come back. Staff are friendly and made our evening special. Thank you for making it a lovely night 😊

A very busy restaurant! Really delicious curries. Great vegetarian selection, huge nan breads. Front of house were very friendly and attentive, and warned us of delays. Will definitely come again next time we are in Bude.

The woman member of staff was rude, she asked us how our food was and then told us off for responding because we felt the food was not as expected. Think the beer was watered down, service was slow and people arriving for bookings were either turned away or almost told off for coming into the restaurant. People ordering take aways dominated the room, waiting for their order that rarely arrived. Would not recommend.
