Balti King in Cornwall

Extremely disappointing. 5 out of 6 of us did not enjoy our meals. Lamb dishes were fatty & chewy so could not eat them, greasy rice, Very pushy at making us order, not late in & not busy. Chose same dish as another of us had chosen as not given time to read menu. Will not be returning.

Prawn Puri was best I've tried, ever. Fairy large portion.Fresh prawns, proper job.Curry full of flavour, spicy, done spot on.Side sauces amazing.Everything tasted fresh which is rare for takeaway in this area.Will be ordering again soonDelivery was fast with in half hour of ordering over phone

We get a takeaway from here quite often and always love it. Last night we went in for dinner for the first time and loved it even more. Our server was great and recommended a couple of lovely dishes, and all the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful night and we will definitely be back soon!

Had this delivered to the Travelodge I was staying in it turn up on time the dish was still hot and really tasty and good size portions would definitely use again

Always had good delivery service until tonight couldn't deliver, so drove down to pick it up. Got home half order missed off, so another drive down. We only ordered takeaway as had a busy day, didn't need the added stress of going there twice and ending up with cold takeaway. Really not what I expected from Balti King, what's going on?

The food was OK but boy this place is expensive. Watch out for the cost of soft drinks they don't have a drinks menu so you won't discover how much they cost until you get the bill. The locals take their own win as they don't have an alcohol licence. Soft drinks are £3.50 for a small lemonade. Bit of a con and unless I'm mistaken actually against the law not to have prices displayed somewhere ???

I turned up at short notice and the restaurant staff were happy to get me a table. The food was absolutely superb - reasonably priced for Cornwall and delicious. I can thoroughly recommend the chilli chicken balti. I'll definitely return... ...perhaps tomorrow :)

I always like to try new curry places this one is OK, the sauces are a little thin and the spice scale seems a bit on the low side. Their website menu pricing is a lot lower than the actual prices so I put a few photos up of the menu, strong money for an average curry house, the most expensive take away Indian I have experienced. On the positive side their onion bhajis were wonderful, probably the best I have ever had, the naan breads were perfect, rice was fluffy and not stuck together and the poppadoms were spot on. Parking is a bit tricky but there is a bus stop opposite if your just running in to collect.

What a great find. Food was delicious. Service prompt even though we hadn't booked. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Would recommend to everyone. Every single plate empty.
