A lovely hidden gem down a narrow footpath, I found this place purely by its beautiful hanging baskets, food is great, good value and very friendly service, definitely visit here A*** many thanks

Sat outside to have a coffee, unfortunately there was a hair in it, not mine I hasten to add.... When I told the waitress she said "That is because you sat outside." I couldn't quite believe what I had heard. Asked her what she had said, she repeated it, adding that she would get me another coffee. Said "Forget it." and went on my way. Not the response you expect, bad customer relations.....

Great food, very friendly staff. Thumbs up for the chef. We've got homemade soup and crab sandwich. You must try it. We love it.

Lovely little cafe, hidden away, waitress was very happy and cheerful. We had a bacon sandwich which came with side salad, rice and coleslaw and it was delicious. Our baby enjoyed his tea cake too. Would definitely recommend

We had lunch last week, as we were in Truro on holiday. My wife had a crab sandwich, I had the club sandwich - both of a high standard and both very fresh and delicious. Friendly, attentive staff.

Expensive for small portions. Great coffee. Rude owner . Was annoyed at being accused of lying when I said I had been in a few times. It's very sad to be treated rudely when as a local I would have gone in more often.

Just wanted a coffee for my self and my wife. We were not allowed inside because we didn’t want food despite there being plenty of empty tables. There was no room outside on the 3 tiny tables provided so we took our business elsewhere. On reading the response to my comment from the owner I am not surprised at reviews on here complaining about rudeness, her patronising attitude in this reply displays evidence of that.Had any of those points she makes been made to us at the time, (and 11.30am is hardly "Peak Time"or "main lunch period", there were only 2 people in the cafe at the time) I may have understood but just to be dismissed brusquely with "Outside only" was indeed very rude.Still had this not occurred we would not have found the wonderful Duke Street deli with large Coffees and a reasonably priced sandwich menu that tempted us into having lunch there too so all is good.I return the owners thanks for giving us the opportunity to find and enjoy this friendlier and more superior establishment.

Found ourselves our regular breakfast spot from now on. Lovely food and wonderful staffs. 😊😊
