Bear Bar and Kitchen in Cornwall

We came in here for a bite to eat at night, choice of food is good, lots of meat and vegetarian choices available. Some really nice mocktails for the kids too. Prices are not expensive and not cheap, probably what you would expect from good quality restaurant in a tourist area. Our waiter was a young guy and probably still learning, but nothing was too much for him and he was really polite. Outside is dog friendly and the tables are covered by huge umbrellas. We managed to park just metres away for free too. An enjoyable meal all in all and would visit again

Nice friendly staff, very attentive to our needs. I was impressed with the speed of service. We all ordered different meals and in under 15 minutes from ordering we had our food. We all enjoyed our meals so cant moan about anything.

Amazing food and cocktails. The surf and turf was great! Amazing steak and a beautiful pepper sauce to tie the whole dish together.

Salt never fails to disappoint today was our third time back. Service is always fast and staff are very friendly. The new set up to the restaurant looks great too 🤩I've tried their pasta, a seafood dish previously and tonight was a burger. All of course were delicious.. Yummy!!Definitely deserve the 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A hidden gem, that is a *must visit* venue in Hayle or for any visitors in the area. Super friendly staff, great value menu (particularly compared to the eye-watering prices in St Ives).All food locally sourced and freshly cooked on the premises. A great selection of drinks too. And an added bonus of being dog friendly.We'll definitely be visiting again!

A fresh, small bar with a good menu. All meals cooked fresh, are tasty with large servings. Sweet potato fries were ace! Lovely quick service with a good ambience. Would recommend but book table.

We went for early dinner, kids where really happy with the food and to be honest one of the best meals we had in a long time!!Nice please, cozy and tasty food!Menu is a bit different now, just forgot to do a picture of it.

Friendly staff were very accommodating, food was great and reasonably priced. All round a nice atmosphere for a chilled out restaurant/bar.

Really well cooked food; great value and the staff are all so friendly. Highly recommended! Had the fish tacos and monkfish skewers; both excellent. Whitebait starter was some of the best I've had and a generous portion too.
