Lovely visit here whilst staying in the area for our evening meal.Dog friendly, so we were able to take our pup too.Staff were great, served us quickly and made a fuss of the pup, giving lots of cuddles and treats.Friendly locals, happy to recommend some local dog walks.Food was reasonably priced, very tasty and great quality.Decent sized car park, which connects to another car park which you can park in to also access the Camel Trail. We'll certainly visit again when back in the area.

It was an extremely quiet night yet we were sat with the only other couple eating in that part of the restaurant and then they showed another couple to the other table next to us leaving loads of tables empty so conversations were not great. Drinks took a while, for others forgotten completely.... no excuse when so empty. The food was OK and the staff actually serving us were very pleasant and attentive. The short comings seem to be at the bar . Disappointing as could be great.

It's a Sunday afternoon and last minute we decided not to cook but find a pub. We called into the Borough Arms. It was very busy but the barman was lovely and took the time to actually sort out a table for us. Food was delicious. Generous portions. Service was excellent. Our thanks again for providing best Carvery. We will be back.

We went past this pub on our Camel Trail walk - looked inviting but didn’t have time to go in. The walk itself is lovely, flat and easy to do.

We had the Sunday Carvery, the beef was like brisket and was shredded on the plate. The pork was very dry and thick which was hard to cut. The veg was a bit over cooked. I had the crumble for pudding with custard but the custard was stone cold and I had to send it back. There was also some ice-cream for other people on the table and it was almost defrosted by the time they got it.

With the last 18 months and the hospitality industry in a state of flux, you would expect an establishment to want to take your money and deliver a top-class service. This is the second time I have experienced an interrogation instead of a welcome... Have you booked replaced hello how are you?Once informing the host we hadn't and before we could state we wanted a drink were promptly told they were fully booked.I finally was able to say we were hoping for a drink in your pub and asked about one of the tables by the bar which I was promptly told was needed in 45 minutes. No hospitality or options of you can have the table for a quick drink but I will need it back no flexibility at all.I hope the host has a better day tomorrow.

Have always driven past here and thought to come for a Sunday evening roast dinner with my dad. Top quality food! Ivy our waitress was brilliant - very attentive and lovely to speak to. She welcomed us immediately and was helpful throughout so, thank you to you! We will be back

Passed this pub on our day out. It exceeded our expectations. Both with the friendly staff and the meal we had. Very highly recommend! Compliments to the chef with our carvery and hunters chicken meal and thankyou to all staff who worked so hard as a team.
