Boscastle Fishing Company in Cornwall

Genuinely fantastic food after a good walk from Tintagel. My favorite will have to be the sashimi sea bream which was blow torched. The texture and flavor is spot on. As someone who is extremely picky with sashimi, I would not hesitate to order it again.The porthilly oyster, scallops, and mackerel are also excellent. The seaweed butter on the scallops is pure crack. I had a side of cabbage, which I relentlessly dipped in the seaweed butter. This is my first time having porthilly oysters, and I found the briny sweetness absolutely wonderful. It did not have the strong "sea" flavor that some usually find off putting about oysters - a testament to the freshness. I'm a huge fan of mackerel, and I loved every last bit of the crisp skin soaked in the tangy sauce that it came with. The flavors for all the dishes are certainly on point

A truly lovely little find, this small restaurant is a treasure serving fresh ingredients, very well cooked. Fine dining in a relaxed setting. The staff were great. Good selection of drinks. Caters for all, including some challenging dietary requirements. We would certainly recommend and suggest booking in advance as this place is very likely to be super busy very soon.

Wowsers- what an amazing restaurant. The food was sublime, fresh fish that day , the Chablis was incredible (we had 3 bottles of it !!). Scollops a must , in fact everything a must including dessert- don’t miss an opportunity to dine here , take any time they have available

Fantastic food, lovely ambience, super dog friendly, excellent service, and super wine (they even had an orange wine which is unusual for the area). Would thoroughly recommend to anyone in the area who enjoys casual, small plates dining with the most delicious fresh fish. Only thing I’d love to see would be a local cider on the drinks menu.

This place is fab. Young enthusiastic and talented staff. Perfectly cooked fish and fine wine selection. Portions are small so order generously. You won’t regret it washed down with a glass of Picpoul!

Gorgeous cuisine and such a fun ambience, felt like we were somewhere Mediterranean, what an asset for beautiful Boscastle. Just what we have been waiting for. If I was a lady of means I would be there every week! Expensive, yes, but divine x

We stayed in Boscastle for 4 weeks and we came to this restaurant twice. We were a little let down by the lack of high end seafood restaurants in Boscastle and we were so pleased to come across The Rocket Store, as this little gem made our time here so much better!Their selection of small plates and seafood is incredibly creative, so beautifully cooked and pleasing to look at.Young chefs who deserve a michelin star!The customer service is also outstanding. Cannot fault it, if we ever come to Boscastle again I really hope this restaurant is here again :D

This place is outstanding, the inventiveness of the flavours was wonderful - such smart, complex & multilayered dishes prepared from fresh local produce by a chef who's youth belies his ability.I see other reviews complaining about 'London prices', well if meat and potatoes is more your thing there's a couple of pubs within a hundred yards where you could get a surpassingly adequate meal of the sort you'll find in every town in England, and it'll probably be a few quid cheaper. Personally I'll happily pay 10% more for a truly memorable meal.

Had my birthday meal here while visiting from Yorkshire, and had such a special & memorable experience. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and each dish we got was excellent! The food was all very fresh and locally sourced. Some of our favourites were ceviche, warm beetroot salad, and lobster pasta 🤤 only a few tables inside but it added to the private, cosy feeling and there are more outside with a very nice setting as well. Would highly recommend it!!

The most superb dining experience in Boscastle and possibly Cornwall. Small, intimate, fresh, raw and full of locality of ingredients. Accommodating 3 kids and 4 adults with dishes straight from the super small kitchen to table 3 feet away. Crack on team - bravo. 👏🏼
