In a land of uninspiring English breakfasts, finding something creative, fresh, delicious and worth the money can be somewhat difficult, nevermind an excellent coffee. Luckily for me, I hit the jackpot yesterday when I visited Box & Barber in Newquay after following Google reviews and intuition all the way from Wadebridge. One sweet and one savoury to share is tradition between my partner and I, whilst scrapping for the last morsels. The toasty breakfast burrito was stuffed with scrambled eggs, black beans, salsa, spinach and cheese and bursting with all sorts of lovely flavours. My partner and I couldn't fight over this one cause it was conveniently cut in half, otherwise we would have. Next came the vanilla buttermilk pancakes with creme fraiche, blueberry and lemon compote, bananas, toasted almonds, maple syrup and bacon. It was all out war, sneaking spoonfuls of creme fraiche off each others plates, nicking bananas... it was that delicious. And then the coffee. Skillfully brewed, my iced coffee washed everything down in the most satisfying way. Smiles from all the staff saw us out and guaranteed our return. Until next time.

Super tastey food and lovely staff. We had the breakfast burrito and the eggs on toast, which were both delicious. I reccomend asking for some sirracha sauce with it as well, extra goodness. The buns are also great and with a nice smoothy to wash it down you cant go wrong. A bit pricey, but worth treating yourself. Dog friendly as well. I would definetely come back.

Really lovely place, good music, friendly staff, I like the cakes and coffee. There are great vegan options and I loved the breakfast burrito! A must visit!

Two thumbs up from me 👍🏼 👍🏼 Incredibly flavoursome breakfast burrito and my girlfriend had the box breakfast muffin (and didn’t say a word until the plate was clean!). Also had an amazing smoothie and the coffee was cracking. Will be coming back sharpish!

The entire menu is vegetarian with the use of quality fresh ingredients to chose from. Large portions leave you feeling the right way after breakfast without being overly indulgent. Coffee is also carefully prepared with perfect late art and all the alternative dairy options. Probably the best place for breakfast in Newquay!

Newquays Best coffee shop? Probably.Great Independent city style coffee shop yet Box & Barber have their own quirky features that makes it a staple of Newquay, if I was staying in town for a weekend or week I’d definitely be visiting this place everyday.First off the coffee is absolutely spot on they have all the options you’d expect from an independent speciality coffee shop including an incredible batch brew. Pretty sure I clocked that they were using Origin Coffee Roasters beans in the machines too.For food I had the Avo & sourdough, the portion was perfect; not your solo sliver of bread with a thin slice of avocado slapped on top that you’re probably used to from your local Indie coffee shop. Also had the Hash on the side which was essentially an homemade Hashbrown that I could have happily ate alllllllllll day. breakfast, lunch and dinner please!Staff really make Box & Barber though. All incredibly welcoming and friendly to all, credit to the café and owners! Facilities and cafe seating areas were all well looked after. Can’t wait to come back
