A lovely stay for my birthday. Perfect breakfast. Lovely friendly staff, and the evening meal faultless. Highly recommend the lamb and rosemary pie! Def be back. Thank you all for a perfect stay.

Managed to get a table for 5 this lunchtime, as we are holiday makers we were non the wiser as to what it would be like. Well, we were amazed as it was just amazing food and service. Took a leaflet away to look into b and b sometime. Thankyou

Popped in for dinner after a very long drive down to the southwest. Lovely little pub, All the staff are very friendly and welcoming! Dog friendly in the bar area.Great food at very reasonable prices, would definitely go back.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely room, clean, fresh, bright and very comfortable bed. Food was hot, service was quick and tasty meal. Breakfast was excellent. Very surprised at this lovely place for the economy price paid. Five stars definitely.

Sunday dinner was absolutely first rate. Great portion size, fresh veg and tasty all the way. Service was brilliant. We will be back! Thanks

What a lovely pub. The food was amazing, I had a gorgeous steak and they had a wide range of burgers and a lot of gluten free options! Will be back!

Honestly it was wonderful..my room was very clean, bright, well decorated, modern, I looked over the front of the pub which was ideal . It was so quiet at night and in the morning considering it was on the main road. Tea coffee biscuits, clean white crockery . The en-suite was modern and clean to a fault . Fresh crisp white linen, beds and bedding . Very accommodating friendly staff indeed . Happy to help . The breakfast were superb with a great choice and QUALITY ingredients. Modern fresh dinning room and very well organised. It was a real pleasure all round ..the cleaning and bar staff were very pleasant and professional. I was on a three day stay, and found this beautiful pub/hotel ideally placed for walking distance into town, Summerleaze beach and even widemouth bay . I’ll be back definitely 👍. Well done.

We had a roast dinner one January Sunday. It was pleasant enough and the pub has a fabulous position in Bude with a free car park! It is a very attractive looking pub with a good bar, comfortable dining room at the front and more basic room at the back. Unfortunately we were stuck in the back room and my husband struggled to hear. My lamb roast was ok but no Yorkshire puddings (a roast dinner isn’t a roast dinner without a Yorkshire pudding no matter what the meat). Service was ok- one of the ladies was friendly. Food was fine. Portion size good.

Wow!! Best fish & chips I've had for a long time. Perfectly cooked & well priced. Even though we hadn't booked as were passing through, the staff were kind enough to accommodate us at this last minute & give us a table. Lovely ambience, decor & friendly establishment. Thank you !!

Very comfortable but a bit noisy as my room was at top of stairs above smoking area. Breakfast was wonderful. Had to get evening meal from next door pub which was again great and reasonably priced.
