Buffet City in Cornwall

Our 1st visit. Had Sunday lunch there.. Polite staff, very clean and the food was great. Good choice of starters, mains and dessert... Definitely be going back. Thx for a wonderful lunch.. 😁

While I have plenty of family memories from here, it's never been a place I've ever considered particularly authentic. But then again that's not really why any of us have gone there or continue to go is it?After being away for 12 months I got taken there because of nostalgia, and while it's changed and on the surface and looks 'better' it's really the same with fewer dishes. I'm not complaining, it is what it is.

Good variety of food for a buffet. I have been visiting this place since 2017 and it is lovely to see that the interiors have been upgraded along with the Menu. Good value for money in terms of the quality of food. It’s an all you can eat buffet and the location is very family friendly. Although staff are not that friendly - something that has not improved at all over the years!Make sure to make a booking beforehand as it can get busy sometimes!

We were a walk in off the street and were seated quickly. Drinks we had to pay for at the bar when we arrived along with the menu option selected. Food was your standard buffet. Good selection of your standard dishes. Food was hot, tables and cutlery were clean. Dessert was good, they had ice cream machine with old school sauces. Staff were friendly too

Staff is always very welcoming and give excellent customer service. Also, food is always great, so Many choices! My loved ones And myself are regular customers since we moved to Plymouth in 2015. Never disappointed, always great experience there. Thanks for THEIR hard work 😊

Although my wife enjoyed her meal I had several issues.First: I was asked to pay before we were offered a table and received any food? most unusual!I found the lemon Chicken but there was no sauce on offer, I mentioned this to the man clearing the tables and he said he would speak to the chef. I decided to proceed and used sweet and sour sauce instead, which was very nice however the . Lemon chicken pieces were extremely tough, difficult to cut and only lukewarm the egg fried rice was also very nice but also only lukewarm, I was upset by the whole atmosphere and the inefficiency of the staff in not preparing hot food for their customers well in advance of opening.

Nice relaxed atmosphere to dine in. We never felt pressured to leave. The staff are really nice, very polite and helpful. Food continually supplied, nothing running out. Brilliant to have such a great range of desserts as well. Only had to wait 10mins for table of 4 on a Saturday evening. Great service, thank you all very much.

Very nice restaurant. Very much welcoming staffs. Excellent food. Lots of variety, especially love the desserts. Highly recommend to enjoy lovely food and lovely environment.

Great, delicious, full of flavour Chinese. Buffet City is a nice, family friendly restaurant with a really good service.***UPDATE! ***Gave a 5 stars at first BUUUUUUT we were RIPPED OFF! When paying I was told my 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter were above 140cm height, so we had to pay full rather than kids portion for both of them. I didn't have a measure with me (cause who carries it in their purse!!!) to prove they're wrong and they apparently have something on the wall that's 140cm. So went with it and paid a ridiculous price! Got home, measured my kids and it turned out they're both under 140! My advice, bring your tape measure with you and don't let them rip you off.
