Cafe Spice in Cornwall

After a 4 hour wait last time I thought I would give it one last try. Never again, I don't appreciate a £30 order being reheated hopefully only yesterday's food. Inside on naan soggy powder, poppadoms stale, tikka thrown away.

Good Indian restaurant, food was great, no alcohol served on premises but you can bring in from off license next door

I ordered food from here and delivery was already after 1.5hrs and still we waited and after two hours the restaurant themselves cancelled and was talking rudely. Poor customer service and impolite manner of talking

Ordered at 7, didn’t get the food until 9:10pm. Time when ordering said 45 mins... I’m pregnant and had 3 kids waiting to eat, popadoms were missing from the order (I did call after placing online order to request these so they weren’t paid for) however, despite all of that I have to say, it’s one of the best curry’s I’ve ever eaten! It was honestly delicious. The kids absolutely nailed the tikka masala and said it’s the best one they’ve ever had. Disappointing wait but really good food!

On a busy Saturday night when restaurants are back open with new measures in place, we've just eaten a fantastic meal. Even though they were short staffed for deliveries, the curries arrived hot, fresh and very tasty. Well done. Highly recommended.

Today we ordered a selection of vegetarian dishes and have been delighted with the quality of the food and efficient service (the takeaway was ready ahead of time). Thank you Cafe Spice.

Shocking delivery service. After being recommended by friends as we were visiting the area. We ordered by phone and was told it would be a 1 hour wait. After waiting an extra 20 mins over my husband rang to chase and was told it would be another 10 mins. Husband chased again after this time to be told another 15 mins. My husbands patience was getting thin and took over 2 hours for delivery in the end and the food was cold.Would not recommend home delivery at all.

Food wasn't awful but the owners didn't even seem like they wanted us there. Begrudgingly gave us a table as we hadn't booked and we were hurried away after finishing to make room for another group. The waitress was helpful and attentive however. Decent food but let down by frankly miserable staff.

What's with all the scathing reviews? We order takeout from here regularly and the food is always lovely and always ready when we arrive to collect. I have had better Indian food but for a local takeout Cafe Spice is pretty decent. That said, we're vegetarian so perhaps the meat dishes aren't so great. Who knows. Anyway, no complaints here!
