Caffe Pasta Pizzeria in Cornwall

Today we’ve visited this caffe with my friends. Ordered 2 pastas with seafood and caprese salad. Taste of the pasta is really upsetting, not the best I’ve had and it had shattered mussel shells in it. Place is very overpriced. Not good, not terrible. Definitely not the best place to try native Italian cuisine.P.S The toilets is straight up from Chernobyl.

Booked a table for 2 in February. Asked for a window table but told in couldn’t be guaranteed. Fair enough. Arrived for meal placed half way back next to red hot coffee machine. Other tables were available but we were told they were reserved. We could move to a table against the wall but had a time limit on how long we could take to eat our meal. Asked to speak to the manager, not available. Asked when we should have made our booking as February was obviously too late to have a nice table. Left and went to Firehouse, staff, table, food, wine were all excellent. So if you want a really great meal with excellent staff don’t go to café pasta.

Food was good, reasonably priced and nice view of the beach. Water glasses had lipstick marks on them and were generally dirty. Service was bad. The girls just stood around chatting, tried to get one of them and was ignored. A shame really, because it ruined the atmosphere and you could see none of them wanted to be there.

Average and predictably overpriced. But what a fantastic location. You know what you're gonna get if you stop at a place like this. Average service, average food and a beautiful location.Nothing wrong here. But know what to expect before you sit down.

Amazing food, so fresh and tasty. If we ever go to St ives again, this will be out first stop off! 5 🌟

Without doubt the best restaurant I’ve ever visited. From start to finish, service was great , really friendly staff. Ok it wasn’t very busy, can’t fault it. It’s very rare to find a place where all 3 courses are excellent. Anyway this place has set all standards. Thank you for a wonderful evening 😍😍

No comment on the food here, you'll understand from the below:We waited at the 'Wait here to be seated' sign for over five minutes, without even being acknowledged (there was no queue). The wait staff were pushing past us to get to the outside tables, and they still didn't say 'be with you shortly'.Eventually, after waiting patiently for five minutes, and another couple of minutes pointedly looking at our watches, we left without being seated.As I said, I can't comment on the quality of the food here, but left with an impression of extremely rude wait staff. A shame as the menu looked really nice.

Fantastic food and friendly staff it isn't very big but I think that's a good thing and there a few tables outside if u can get one it's beautiful

Not recommended at all. We ordered steamed mussels with tomato sauce but received mussels in cream sauce. Also the prawns were not cooked well. The staff was really nice, but they need to change something in the kitchen.

Just don't order the duck. Incredibly dry and served with dry lentil "salad" (few leaves). The whole thing was so dry and tasteless I didn't want to finish it. Service was a bit slow but it was busy.
