Carn Vean Cafe in Cornwall

What a unique experience! The road to access the castle was extremely bumpy due to pot holes so glad we got a taxi as opposed to driving ourselves. We were also fortunate to be squeezed in as my other half had booked the wrong date 🙄 Beautiful setting, excellent food and fantastic service, a fabulous meal and memorable dining experience. They only accept payment by cash, cheque, PayPal or bank transfer.

Here is really beautiful place to have a meal, its a very old castle perched ontop of the hill overlooking Redruth and beyond towards the coastline.The food is really good here and authentic too. There are lots of choices for Starters and Main Dishes and good Arabic coffee to finish off. Staff were also very polite and friendly. Great for some photo shots as well. 10/10

Beautiful setting, magical experience. Loved it. Food and staff excellent. Our new favourite place. Highly recommend for those who can appreciate the energy and history of this very special location and restaurant.

This must rate as one of the quirkiest restaurants you can eat in being built directly on the curved boulders. The view is fantastic, very windy most days. There is an outdoor patio at the front of the castle. Only 4 stars because of the limited menu. Check out the boulders outside

Beautiful setting in a castle and the hospitality was 100%we went for the set menu expecting authentic food but not knowing it was planned on a plain taste with soup, chicken beans and potatoes and cheesecake. Food tasted OK but a little disappointed as we booked the wrong menu wanting more middle Eastern cuisine.The setting is absolutely breathtaking.

Looks like a great place to visit for dinner, unfortunately I was only walking past. Menu looks good. Great location Would love to give better reviews once I've eaten there.

Went here for a Valentine meal. The food and the atmosphere was stunning. It honestly was the BEST rump steak I've EVER had. It was reasonably priced and the staff were lovely. Knowledgeable of the menu too, not just there to serve. A truly amazing experience. I can't recommend it highly enough. 10/10

Lovely, one of a kind, restaurant. Great food in a warm and inviting tiny castle!Even in the rain it was great going up to the roof and having a look at the wonderful view.Will definitely be back!

Wow, first time to this restaurant and won't be the last. Gorgeous setting and food to match. The lady working there was brilliant and reasonably priced.Also get to go up to the roof and take in the view between meals.It was my girlfriend's birthday too and they gave us alittle cake
