CAST Cafe in Cornwall

My favourite place to eat in Helston. If you’re looking for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, food made with fabulous local ingredients, amazing flavours, come to CAST Cafe. There is always a good range of vegetarian options, great coffee and delicious cakes. And all staff is so friendly.

Came here for a coffee and also dinner in the same day!Coffee was great - they use Yallah which I love. There was decent Wi-Fi and it’s a quiet space so would be perfect for work or study, although I don’t know if they endorse this.Dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. I had a lovely well made negroni and the house red which definitely delivered. We had the chorizo which was crispy on the outside and pleasantly soft on the inside, along with kalamata olives and fresh bread - all great. Following this we had tagine with a garlicky bean mash which was excellent. Confidently flavoured and a generous portion.The staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this spot for either a daytime or evening visit.

C-A-S-T remains one of the best places to grab a sit down coffee in Helston. Great drinks and cakes, good wi-fi, lovely staff and a great atmosphere.

A real hidden gem in Helston.I have been twice now for lunch and each time the menu is different and plenty of options to choose from, delicious flavours and beautifully presented and the saff are polite and welcoming highly recommended a visit you won't be disappointed 😀

A real oasis ! Great place for a range of quality food and drink. We had coffee and croissants also tea and toast. Sounds ordinary,but far from it. Staff are great and extremely helpful. This place very much deserves a visit to discover the full menu range and other ancillary activities.Dog friendly

We stopped for breakfast there and it was very tasty. Sourdough bread with beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and egg. Delicious coffee as well. Highly recommended place to eat.

Without a doubt, the best food in Helston. Imaginative menu, beautifully presented food, great but limited wine list. The new outside seating makes it even safer in the pandemic. Friendly staff. You must go.

The food was amazing here - we got the crab arancini and soup of the day, which were both delicious! Not to mention their amazing coffee & desserts. The service was also top notch too. Will definitely come back here next time I’m in Helston.

Amazing coffee and food. The service was excellent and there are beautiful views out the window. We came on a Wednesday morning and it was pretty quiet. Took an extra coffee to go because it was so good!
