Charlie's Cafe Restaurant & Online Deli in Cornwall

Walked around town to find the visitor center at Tintagel and noticed Charlies was busy. Walked around Tintagel castle and when we returned to the town, decided to give Charlies a try instead of the pasties and cakes in bakery, which I am sure are good.Sourdough bread sandwiches, ham and mustard mayo with pickles was great. Chicken and tarragon with smoked mayo was also great.Great fries too.Also a deli to buy bread and ham served in cafe.Thank you for the warm welcome and great service.

Lovely breakfast! Had the eggs Benedict and pulled pork eggs Benedict. Yummy in my tummy!

Delicious food and good service. Really kind and helpful staff. Prawn sandwich- big and delicious.Lentil soup tasty and well seasoned. And pulled pork had a really tasty dip inside. But the best - turmeric sourdough baked on premises

Nice little place. We had latte's, water and à lplate of savoury bits. The presentation of the plate was really lovely ( they'd cut the home made bread in a shape of a heart). Service was ok. Really lovely decorated place. I personnally didn't walk in. So I can't comment on the inside of the place.

Our breakfast here was excellent. Great eggs and amazing waffles. Includes various homemade cakes and the service is very friendly.

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service from the team at Charlie's!We shared a cream tea - the scones were freshly baked and still warm... 🤤I also had a salad with honey roast ham - it was a flavour sensation in my mouth and I now want to just eat that every day forever.Also the sourdough bread is to die for - freshly baked on-site, it was so airy and every bite was incredible. I heartily recommend this great deli cafe if you're in Tintagel - you won't be disappointed.

A glorious little cafe with a brilliantly warm welcome and some delicious things to eat and drink.We stopped in for a traditional cream tea and we're blown away by the yummyness of the fresh scones, jam and cream. On first look we thought the scones might be on the small side, but, they were PERFECT.A simple but brilliant touch was the provision of a caddy for my wife's used tea bag. A great little thought that you don't see often and it was very nice.Licensed with a great menu of snacks and meals the friendly atmosphere and staff cannot be rivalled, staff were consistently warm and polite providing everything we could want with plenty of (mask covered) smiles.The local gin (Tarquins) is served here and is stunning. Served with Cornish tonic it is the perfect combination and was sublime. So much so, we bagged a bottle and some of the tonic while there.A lovely little place with easy access in the centre of the village, shop stuffed with local delicacies such as cheeses, beers, gins and a lot more. On site bathrooms and a very well conducted covid measures.Stop by, you will NOT be disappointed.

The cream tea is wonderful here. Scones were hot from the oven, so super-fresh and tasty. Ample amounts of cream and jam provided (something other places disappoint on) and the tea was excellent also. Highly recommended!
