In a word, dreadful. Ordered 2 large cod and chips with mushy peasbreakdown as follows:Fish - tasted "overly fishy' and batter way too dark in colour did not taste fresh at all.Chips - were overcooked, and tasteless and very dark in colourThe most probably reason is that the cooking oil has not been changed, frequently making everything taste 'off'Mushy peas were over cooked and tasteless.Agreed this is early season (5th February 2022) when we went (We live in Long Rock, a few miles away ) and the fish and chips there is never to be faulted.The upshot as that our two dogs had a 'bumper' fish and chip luncheon, which was nice for them, we could not eat what had been served.We ordered an ice cream each from a nearby store, to take away the taste of the fish and chips consumed earlier !Unable to recommend the fish and chips at all.

Decent food. Great to go and sit on a bench over the harbour. Update, 5 years later- great coffee. Good price. Very tasty

Little gem. Primarily take away but as it was cold we hopped onto one of three tables and enjoyed fab sausages cooked on grill and chips loved it

Don't no if it was just cause it was New Years eve, but not the best food . Pizza burnt and dry, Nscho.s hardly any cheese and also burnt... .. will defo give a miss

I haven't eaten much of the menu here. But what I do know is they do great chips and delicious homemade Crepes!!

Really great quality burger amd chips. Wife had an amazing chocolate and strawberry Crepe also. Considering it was 5.00pm we got table and served well. No delay. Will come again 👍🏽

First, we waited 40 minutes on a Wednesday to get our food. This doesn’t include the queue to order. This is the worst bad school cafeteria pizza I’ve ever seen served at a restaurant. I cannot believe we waited an entire hour and spent the money for this. I’m not one to blast restaurants on reviews but I am much more than disappointed. I will never ever return.

Ordered from here 15/5/21. I had the bacon and cheese burger & large chips. My husband had cod & chips. The burger was restaurant quality, so filling and tasted absolutely amazing. My husband said the fish was great quality too. Thanks for a lovely lunch after visiting from the Midlands.

This is such a lovely place to eat! We arrived late and hungry, and were worried nowhere would be open- but the lady made an effort to stay open for us and was helpful and kind the whole time. Delicious food, and generous portions. We really recommend this place!!
