Interesting menu with a twist. Make sure you leave some room for desert - they are to die for! Very friendly hostess and lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and my evening. Highly recommended.

Will only give 3 star , mainly because I booked for Valentine’s Day and was expecting the restaurant to have a Valentine’s theme but was disappointed as there was nothing whatsoeverI saw on their Facebook that they had pictures of the restaurant nicely decorated for Valentine’s but this year there was NOTHINGFood was ok , desserts not so good , chocolate brownie was too dry

I booked this restaurant last October for 4 people, we traveled from Fowey. When we got there the restaurant was closed, they didn't have the decency to inform me or contact me, we couldn't get table anyway in Mev, I will not be booking a meal again at Roovrays. 😡😡

Had an excellent meal there on 9/10/21. Rate it the best in mevagissey. Fantastic portions, great service, friendly and accommodating staff. Compliments to the chef.

I liked the food in general. I found the portion of kebab of Cornish fish very short of fish. The rice was tasty.The vegetables fine and sweet potatoes very nice.The beer was good as wellVery good ambient and well decorated with well chosen music.I gave 2 stars because the price dies not much the quantity of the food (fish) that I paid for. If they were increasing the fish and decreasing the rice, the place would be very worthy.

Stumbled on this gem today and we were very impressed. Accommodated all 8 of us and our small dog. Food was excellent particularly the mussels and the young waiter was extremely helpful and efficient. Hope to go back one day.

We live locally and had not had a good experience on our visits to Roovrays. Last night we had an excellent evening first class food and service. Kieran the new Chef produces great food. We had rib eye,mussels and goats cheese . All delicious and we'll presented.Thank you for a very pleasant evening

Absolutely great to eat at Roovrays once again, after the lockdown.Lots of new dishes on the menu and we all enjoyed our different choices and highly recommend this restaurant.Together with the unique welcome Alycia always gives, and the wonderful food, combines to make a really fun and enjoyable experience.We've already booked a table for when we're back in Mevagissey in August. Can't wait!😋😋

The food was absolutely divine! Staff very friendly. I was advised before visiting service may be a bit slow as they only have the one chef. In my opinion I thought the service was perfect. Its an evening out, I want to enjoy my food and not feel rushed. Honestly cannot fault roovrays.

Absolutely fantastic service and delicious food! I would recommend to anyone going to Mevagissey!
