"Set in the picturesque village of Hessenford in a forgotten part of South East Cornwall only 2 miles from Seaton beach, The Copley is a lovely place to visit with a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a drink or a spot of lunch and let the world go by. We cater for all ages and there is something for everyone. Here at The Copley, we pride ourselves on good food, excellent customer service from the amazing team, not to mention an extensive wine list and traditional real ales from St Austell Brewery and of course we are dog friendly throughout. Found this little gem by mistake on a short break. Staff were lovely, food very good and nice location with a stream running through the grounds. The weather was lovely so we were able sit along side the stream. Inside was also very nice and very clean. It's also dog friendly.

Had meal here yesterday lunchtime. The food was really lovely and tasty. The lady who served us was really friendly but was rushed off her feet . Definitely would come here again, and the Scotch eggs were exceptional, thank you ☺️

The Pub itself is a very nice old pub, locals seem nice as do the bar staff... Unfortunately food was overpriced (£40, for any steak is too steep) and quite simply poncy.I understand the Chef want to put his signature on the food on offer on the menu... But, it just wasn't to our taste, so we didn't eat there... I wouldn't slate the pub, BUT its too posh for a commoner like me! 😅

Delicious food. A very dynamic young chef has recently started working here. The menu is inspiring and exciting. The food is well presented and delicious. The Copley Arms is a warm and welcoming Inn. It's a new favourite of mine.

What a fantastic find!!!Dropped in on way back from St Ives for a quick drink & hoping for a table on the off chance. The staff were so warm friendly & chatty & the food was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately it is our last night in the area & won't be back for a while.Worst part is that we spotted this place early in our holiday......but didn't go in.

I inadvertently got stranded nearby waiting over 3 hrs for Breakdown recovery. The kindness and helpfulness of the owners, bar staff was unbelievable. They were such a great help, while I was waiting, as I had no phone signal at all. Will 100% be bringing my family here when we next pass this way. Beautiful place, great hosts Amanda, Shane, Richard the chef, and "Batman"! Cannot thank them enough. Thank you all so much😀👍

Lovely food, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Only down side it was a bit cold where we were sitting, otherwise it'd be 5 stars from me. Pay them a visit.

This is a lovely pub, we're visiting the area but returned two days in a row! Very picturesque, nice mix of traditional and modern inside. Accommodates both children and dogs. The food portions are enormous and I genuinely can't remember the last time I experienced such friendly customer service. Would highly recommend for anyone.

We have just had a fantastic meal at The Copley Arms. We hadn't booked but received a warm welcome. Excellent pub, lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. Live music on the weekend as well. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, super friendly staff and very welcoming, comfortable setting. I had the fish and chips and my partner the steak and chips. All cooked to perfection and presented very well. Our dog was also made welcome and enjoyed all of the fussing. We will definitely be back again.
