Costa in Cornwall

Tea and cake was fine, shame I couldn't enjoy it because a member of staff was having a very animated and loud private conversation with tow other people just inches from seat.

I visited this place on the 19th May 2022 at around 6.30pm after visiting LandsendNice and clean establishment , well laid out however the customer service was to be desired.I Ordered my drink and was served by a young black haired female with glasses on.She slammed the drink in front of me and as I said thank you I was ignored and she walked off.She was more interested in getting the shutters down.The female mopping the floor sensed my disgust as I walked passed and said thank you and have a pleasant evening .No sooner did I leave the shutters were slammed shut.I understand people want to get home but this was dam right disgusting service .If I could score lower I would.Won’t be returning to this Costa ever again!

Stopped by on the 16th April, you would think staff are happy, friendlyto customers and energetic on this hottest day so far. But the opposite was true. Rude, rude, rude,. Bought costa coffee reusable tumbler. Requested to have my coffee in there. Considering this cup wason the counter with dust , surely you would think someone is going to wash both the cup and lead. No. I had to tip the whole coffee oitside as the lead had not only dust but dumped direct on the counter by this tall big gentleman who looked so annoyedand unhappy with what he was doing. It is the pandemic yes, but training staff to be friendly goes without saying

I went to the in-store Cornwall services Costa coffee on the 9th of march 2022.My partner and I ordered a medium mocha and white hot chocolate. From the get go the gentleman who served us didn't seem to care much about our order. Nor did he seem to care about his etiquette towards customers.Upon getting back to the car we discovered our drinks were without question the worst we've ever had (we have multiple Costas weekly) Reason for the mocha being terrible was that it was an Americano which at no point I asked for.We decided to head to the Costa drive thru- which is usually the one we go to at Cornwall services (and never had a problem with) a colleague called Joe assisted us with our concern about the quality of the drinks and she rectified the situation swiftly and politely.Thankyou very much Joe.Costa drive thru at Cornwall services has impeccable customer service at all times.The same cannot be said for the in-store branch.Stay safe,Your local guide

Really nice looking store, and very covid safe, however they could seriously do with some customer service training. All I wanted was my usual white mocha and although I know its not on the menu I am always accommodated. This time though I would have had more luck getting blood from a stone the guy serving has the social skills of a lemon would not let me order my drink and tried charging me an extra £2 on top of the normal price, and all with a nice side of attitude to go with it.

We were served by a lovely lady. Very friendly asked us about our trip. Excellent customer service! Very refreshing to be served by someone so happy and positive, she was a real treat!

Got a grilled cheese, no napkins provided which is always super annoying and should just be automatic? The americano even in a 'mini' cup is absolutely tasteless. It might have just been hot water, I can't tell (this is an overall Costa criticism. Even an extra shot doesn't help). The one way system is confusing af. There are plastic windows to order through, but aren't used and the staff awkwardly take your order from the side.. Left annoyed and unsatisfied.

Great coffee, pretty good customer service.If you need a strong pick me up, avoid Starbucks and choose this coffee.
