We hadn't been to the cove for a while the last time we went we wasn't happy with it..this time (new owners I think) it was a lot better they were very caring noticing I was cold they offered me a blanket and putting the radiator closer to me.They explained in detail about the food we both had the crab cakes to start then the Lamb the food was excellent every mouthful couldn't fault it at all. To the Front of house staff to the chefs all well done!! We will definitely go again & recommend them. 👌

We attended for dinner after managing to bag a cancellation table due to the restaurant being fully booked. A warm welcome on arrival and excellent service throughout. We dined from the main menu however next time will definitely try the tasting menu. I had the lamb which was exceptional- packed with flavours and cooked perfectly. My girlfriend went for the duck which again was perfect - great flavours and accompanied by a side of seasonal veg and potato purèe. We shared the dark chocolate mousse which was divine - the candied orange peel and the chantilly cream were a decadent addition. Only managed one picture each of the food as was too good!!

Wow! Took the family here to end our holiday. We were not disappointed, not by a long way. From the moment we walked in to the time we left it was perfect. Cracking waiting staff and food that was totally on point!A relaxed atmosphere coupled with a view of the bay. It’s on the list of ‘I will return’ without a doubt. There’s nothing stuffy about this restaurant it’s welcoming and wanting you to enjoy.Go. Relax. Enjoy.PB 👌🏻

Amazing food in a beautiful setting. Thai fishcakes for starters, mains of Hake and Brill and sticky toffee pudding for desert. All served by friendly, professional staff. The best meal I've had in a long time. Would certainly return and would not hesitate to recommend.

Lunch at the Cove on a lovely sunny Thursday sitting on the terrace overlooking the beach. Really enjoyed the food which was served well and used quality ingredients. The shared charcuterie was disappointing, it was expensive and the three salamis were very "run of the mill" and lacked imagination. The ceasar salad and smoked salmon were excellent and the desserts were delicious. We didn't have a main course. We will definitely come back.

Great restaurant. Fantastic view. Perfect service. One of the best steaks in the UK. And oh lala, what a desert menu. Excellent experience.

We opted for the testing menu with wine flights. The food was good overall but one or two of the dishes were a little underwhelming... the fish cerviche and the fish course were both a little bland. The beef main course was stunning however, as was the pudding and the complimentary selection of breads. We also enjoyed every paired wine.

Update: The menu got interesting tried this place with the new Owners. The setting is lovely, the staff where friendly and the presentation was fantastic. I found the service a little slow considering it wasn’t very busy but if your a chatty group who like to spend your time it might not bother you. The Sea Bream Ceviche could of been a little lighter (it tasted too much of olive oil imho). Highly recommend the roasted cod, brought me back memories of eating in Nobu. And all of the desserts are perfect! Looking at the photos I could eat that again lol!

Stopped by here for an impromptu lunch whilst staying in the area. The food was delicious and very well presented. Staff were so nice as well, especially with our little 2 year old causing havoc! Booking advised though as it can get busy.

First time diners at this prestigious Cornish restaurant with spectacular sea views. Decor and attention to detail is fantastic, lovely calm atmosphere, and friendly servers all with masks on. Cutlery and tableware is beautiful, and the presentation of food is stunning. Menu theme is simple food done fantastically well, with local produce used throughout. Very imaginative flavours used such as the duck with a very subtle 5-spice flavour which complemented the perfectly cooked duck breast well. Dessert was a thing of beauty and the portion sizes men's you have room to try one. Do!! Should have decaff tea, be slightly warmer inside, and disinfect the tables more completely (move the plant, and do the sides!) to get 5* from my Mum, but we'll definitely be back.
