We visited here for food and drinks and was not disappointed. The food was lovely, and the cocktails also very nice. Staff were very friendly, prepare for a little wait before being sat for food however as this is a very popular place.

We have been waiting a long time to visit the rum and crab shack and we were not disappointed. We were there for opening and got the best table in the restaurant overlooking the harbour. We had the ribs, burger, fish & chips and kids chicken strips all were fantastic. The doughnut desert was outstanding. Drinks were also fantastic with a great selection of rum and offers on cocktails. Staff were amazing and never rushed us we will definitely return next time we visit and would recommend to all rum lovers.

Good seafood and friendly service. It was packed in Friday night but we only waited 10 minutes for a table at around 7pm for 2 people. By that time they had run of out jerk chicken. We had the shacks crab sharer platefor £55 which was more than enough for the 2 if us. The seafood was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. Only the prawn wasn't as good but we still generally enjoyed it anyway. The rum cocktails were also tasty. There's happy hour from 12-6 2 for £12 or 6-9pm 2 for £15.

We visited after eating at another nearby restaurant, however we did have ice cream, then enjoyed a few runs from the very expansive list/menu!There’s a nice ambiance/chilled-atmosphere going on here, we managed to swap tables after a bit for a window seat which made the whole experience better. The choice of rum is exceptional.Staff were polite.Whilst i understand the vibe I do feel the place would benefit from a bit of money spent tarting it up.

We visited on a very busy Sunday afternoon when they were short staffed however our experience was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they accommodated our two dogs and the food was delicious. We ordered the crab tacos which were stuffed full of crabmeat, the Montary Jack Croquettes and the Popcorn Shrimp. All cooked to perfection, arrived out in a timely manner and tasted great. We were only here for a few days but would definitely visit again. Thank you!

Nice rustic spot in St Ives! We came here since we were long time fans of the dead man’s rum that was born here and were really happy with the cocktails and rums here. The food was good although a little expensive but to be expected in St Ives, my partners food was messed up a little but sorted out quickly.Place has lovely character and the staff seemed really lovely and all working hard!

Their seafoods are nice but the pork ribs is terrible. They did the slowcook in a wrong way hence the ribs is lack of moist and flavour.Customer service is below standard or maybe we're asian. The waiter came to every table asking if the foods is OK but never asked ours. He only approached to ask if he can clear the table when we're not even finished eating.

Had our dinner here after been turned away at 2 other restaurants as they were full.We came in here as they had what we wanted... A crab linguine and a pulled pork taco and price was reasonable.Firstly... They seem to be understaffed as it took a while before anyone took notice of us (we can understand that). The good thing was that we got a decent seat facing the sea/waters which was amazing. However the taco was average while the linguine lacks flavour and the pasta was slightly overcooked (instead of being Al dente). I will give them extra points for the huge portion for the linguine though.Drinks wise, we had a strawberry mocktail drink which was refreshing and a great easy to drink and my first ever Jamaican beer (red stripe).I may have given a 3/5 but it's actually not that bad. They just need to improve on their staffs and the 2 dishes we had, esp the linguine. Guess to be fair, this feels like a 6.75/10 and will I be back? I wouldn't mind if the other popular spots are full.Still enjoying the view while I am writing this!

As a rum and seafood lover, visiting here while in St Ives was a no-brainer!We had the crab linguine (very generous portion) which was divine, and the crab tacos (more suitable for a small to medium sized appetite, or have a side order with them) which were really good. Followed with the cuban-style doughnuts - nice to be able to choose the filling. Served with some good-quality ice cream.Staff were helpful and friendly. We visited mid-week at lunchtime and it was easy to get a seat.

Food was great! Great if you can get a table- they get really packed! Had to come back twice to get a table but it was worth it! They do not do the seafood platter anymore unfortunately so had to settle for the small plates! Small plates are really small portions so order up! We had 3x Pint Prawns, the popcorn shrimp was tasty but the portion was too little, 4 shrimps only. But anyway it was all good. Yummy food
