We ordered dessert, my brownie arrived burnt (could smell that it was burnt before opening the box) and my partners tiramisu was frozen in the centre. Such a shame as their pizzas can be nice!

Absolutely superb pizza here last Thursday- really delicious base and toppings. Also had the mushrooms with garlic bread sticks which were super. Wide selection of gins, beer and sides.

On the site of the former pizza express, don't be fooled into thinking this is a diluted or compromised offer. The only thing 'less' about this place by comparison to PE was the bill. However it is only fair to temper this pov by pointing out that it was a pre-cinema bite for 2 adults. We have not tried the full family outing, which PE do tend to nail quite well in terms of younger children with douggballs and sweeter than sweet puds in my experience.Anyway, the current offer is very good. The pizzas are excellent. I'm no expert but would say the bases are authentic sourdough, and if not, they are an indistinguishable replica. My wife had a vegetarian titled Mediterranean or similar, which she very much enjoyed. I had Ndaja which was excellent and I applaud Crafty Slice Co for making a propery hot pizza. It was just great. The main difference to the layout and appearance of the restaurant floor is the addition of a bar from which a selection of quality draught beers are available. I didn't enquire as to any change overs but the taps looked like fixtures and there is an ipa weighted offer. It is probably fair to say this reflects current trends, and it's fine by me. It was all fine by me.

We don't eat out very often, but so pleased we made an exception with Crafty Slice Pizza Co. Had read about it the other week, the combination of pizza and decent ale sounded right up my street. Authentic ingredients mean the pizzas are to die for, can't think of any I've had better in the past. The Deb Does IPA was beautiful, quality craft ale. If you are visiting Melton looking for somewhere to eat, visit here. If you're local...visit here. You won't be disappointed....

We loved it. Fabulous fresh cooked pizzas loaded with yummy stuff. Not a huge menu but plenty enough to choose from, and all served with a smile by the lovely staff. Starters are tasty, and the desserts come in generous portions. It was quiet when we visited, so can't say what it's like when it gets busy!

I don't usually review restaurants and bars unless they're really good or really bad.WELL! In this case, it was EXCELLENT. After the first bite I knew I had to review this with five stars.I'm Luxembourg, where Italian Restaurants are on every corner. And I can honestly say, these are some of the best Pizzas and Calzones I've ever had.The dough is lovely. The sauce is amazing. And the cheese! 5/5.Plus it was nice to see what was in the boxes with the little writings on the top. Thank you!

Intended to go the crown for dinner on Tuesday, but then found out food not available until Thursday. So walked across the road to The Crafty Slice. My first ever pizza and it was a lovely experience. I have a dairy intolerance but that wasn't a problem as I could have any pizza with vegan cheese that I wanted.I decided on just a basic tomato and vegan cheese, the waitress and the chef were very attentive and made sure we were both happy with our choices. I wished afterwards I had ordered a meatier option, but for my first pizza I was happy.Thank you to all the staff your customer service was perfect.

We really enjoyed our pizza. Prices are brilliant. Would definitely like to see more of their own beers on the menu though considering its owned by a brewery. Great addition to Melton.

Absolutely lovely place inside and out, the garden space was good.I had the calzone which was delicious. The cheesecake was heavenly. Our waitress, Rebecca, was so friendly it was so nice that she took the time to talk to us and made our experience even better. Will definitely recommend and will be going back soon!
