Family run Indian restaurant. A bit hard to find as it lies hidden at the end of a small alley. Staff really very friendly and helpful. Food and setting were not overwhelming but definitely nice and authentic.

This is a hidden gem . The food we had and vegetarian and vegan thali, was excellent. They do curries with meat as well. The cooks have passion, skill and talent. We ate at lunchtime talked to the chefs their sourcing of spices from India and their desire to make Indian home cooking made this a real treat.

I visited here on Friday with my family. We were a party of 10, and the staff at Daaku were more than happy to accommodate us. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly lady (I think the owner?) and shown to a table upstairs. The decor was bright and colourful, and there was a lovely atmosphere. The menu is fairly small but has a choice of veggie and meat options, which change weekly. We ordered a variety of dishes including the chicken, beef and paneer curries, the tarka daal, the kulcha bread and the pilau rice with crispy onions. The staff serving were very helpful, friendly and attentive - I absolutely cannot fault the service we had. Portions were very generous and food arrived hot and fresh. We all enjoyed our meals, although one of our party found the beef in his curry to be a little fatty for his tastes. We followed with a selection of desserts which were also good. We realised at the end of our meal that it was cash only, but thankfully were able to pay via bank transfer. I would definitely recommend Daaku to others - the staff are simply wonderful, kind and humble people and the food is of a high standard.

Best Samosa chat I have had in Cornwall !! Very authentic and tasty 😋. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The meal was very healthy and filling, deserts (Motichoor laddu and Fig barfi) were a perfect ending touch. Will definitely go back !

We had waited patiently to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal at what was once just a take away establishment, a take away that everyone raved about. We were not disappointed. They have a small menu for a very good reason, they want their food to stand out and not be representative of most other curry houses anywhere. The owners know how to create great tasting food and so they give the attention to those few items, rather than producing average taste across 40 or 50 dishes. They change the menu weekly so you know that each visit will be unique, again putting their focus on making sure those few items are perfectly crafted. We chose to share a chicken and lamb dish, with a rice, spiced bread and what turned out to be a surprise mango chutney. Each item we received came packed with flavour, each herb and spice was there to taste - that sounds weird but with most curries you simply have an onslaught of flavour and heat - here the balance was perfect and the taste clean and fresh, even down to the rice which you could literally pick out each grain, it was that well cooked, each grain was actually tasty, again a weird thing to say but in most Indian restaurants the rice is there to mop up the sauce, here it was an element of the dish.We like a glass or two of wine with our meal and we were surprised that for a decent bottle they didn't charge the earth. So from the warm and friendly greeting, the knowledgeable staff who showed enthusiasm for the owners venture, the food and wine, and yes even to the point of paying, this is a 5 star restaurant that should be on your list as a resident or a visitor to Falmouth. We will return as sit down customers (already booked if for August when we have friends visiting) and will now go out of our way to venture in to town to grab a takeaway from them. Thanks for a great experience.

We have been eating Jas and Ben’s delicious food pretty much every single week for 2 years. This is, hands down, the best Indian food I’ve ever had outside of India. Everything is home-made, locally sourced and imaginatively created. Jasmine and Ben are the warmest and loveliest people and the kitchen team are all absolute characters. This place is a true gem.

Phenomenal! Delicious! Fresh and flavoursome! If you like Indian food, you just have to give Daaku a try. You will not be disappointed! Thank you for some of the most delicious Indian food I have ever had...and that was only from the vegan menu.

We had our Christmas meal at Daaku on Thursday night. The food was out of this world. Ben, Jasmine and the team looked after our group superbly. Wonderful evening of authentic Indian cuisine that everyone enjoyed. So much so our group gave Jasmine and the kitchen staff a standing ovation at the end of the evening!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience and a must try if you are visiting! We were blown away by the food, service and atmosphere in the restaurant. It was some of the best Indian food that I’ve ever eaten and there were loads of absolutely delicious vegan options too. Jasmine and Ben were lovely, friendly and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back next time we visit! We also loved that the menu changes on a weekly basis based on ingredients seasonality which is a really lovely touch. Would highly recommended!

A gem, tucked away in the corner of a boatyard. You need to book as they have limited seating, but the food is wonderful, as is the service.
