We just popped in here on the way home and they had just baked and cooked a carrot cake which they let us have 4 slices of even though it wasn’t quite ready.Lovely, tasty moist cake and a really nice touch to add some fresh fruit and candied orange peel.An absolute must to try.

Beautifully cooked, good quality food. Was pleasantly surprised by just how good the food was & the staff were lovely and welcoming too.

Fabulous place. Family run with attentive, very pleasant staff. We were a family of 5 with our eldest daughter in a wheelchair and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Service was fast and efficient and it genuinely feels like you’ve been invited into someone’s home (which has been lovingly restored) for a meal.Speaking of the meal, this was the star. Fresh, vibrant home cooked dishes from local produce of outstanding quality. Great value too. If we revisit Lizard area of Cornwall, we’ll be back.

Fabulous! Delicious food, at reasonable prices. Also, a lovely selection of Red, White and Rose wines.

We went for breakfast this week. Hadn't booked and although they were very busy they managed to find us a table. Owners were so lovely and the breakfast was well worth the visit!

Amazing, third visit now and it's always great. A beautiful selection of food. We sat outside with our young kids, a lovely family run place. I couldn't recommend more highly.

The best cream tea in Cornwall! I think that in my last 25 days of riding, I've had around 20 of them and this was the best. Really peaceful location, great friendly staff - I'm going back!

WOW, what can I say. I ate one of the best breakfasts of my life at this place. You cannot walk along the coast path and not stop here. Like the writers of the Salt Path found the food is to die for. All dishes are made from fresh and use local ingredients. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home.Prices are reasonable given the location and high quality of food. Dogs welcome and the cafe is situated 2 minute walk off the coast path that runs between Porthoustock and Porthallow.
