Regular local customer. Won't bother again, for a second time the large fish at all but nine pounds was tantamount to a skinny sand eel in batter. Expected better from this long established business.

Really smart and clean restaurant with nice decor. I ordered a cider and I got it in a chilled glass, I have had meals in very expensive restaurants and not had this!I had large haddock and chips, the haddock was big with good crispy batter. The fish was firm and clean, delicious with lots of flavour.Chips were nice, a little light for my liking but I did have gluten free ones that were cooked in rapeseed oil so I suspect the chips that were cooked in dripping were even nicer. We also had some curry sauce which was good standard chip shop style.Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a sit down fish and chip meal in Redruth.

My first time visiting. I had fish and chips and they were excellent, not greasy at all, expensive, but well worth the visit.

We went to the restaurant this evening after Googling beforehand that they did gluten free for my daughter, saw two things that would appeal to a child, burger and chicken nuggets, got there and neither on the gluten free menu. First pic is what is now served and second pic is what comes up when you Google morrishs gf, it’s bad enough being coeliac without being disappointed when you get there and they no longer serve what is advertised on the website, a sad little nine year old unfortunately this evening that has enough to deal with without being able to eat normally. I did also message beforehand to ask what they offered gf but only got an automated response saying I would be contacted back soon but never had a reply.

Very Very unhappy with the service I received. I arrived at the allotted time for my collection. Other vehicles arrived and left. I had to speak to a member of staff and still had to wait. 30 mins after arrival the food arrived. No apology for the delay. I understand at busy times there are delay, its the lack of acknowledgement of the delay.

We have never used this chip shop before, the staff were very friendly and the place was clean and looked good. We had a large fish and regular chips. This cost ÂŁ10.25. The fish was cold and the batter was stale and hard the chips tasted like cardboard and also like warm. The portion size of the fish was equivalent to a regular fish in other chip shops we have used. Not good!!

I don’t know why people are giving three star reviews just because the restaurant is busy and they have to wait for food?! Generally, if somewhere is busy, it means the food is good! Not the restaurants fault it has a queue.Morrish’s is great. Simple chippy with the classics, easy online ordering system, huge car park. Food tastes good, especially the tartare sauce. Vegan and gluten free options available too.
