Just nice freshly prepared food. Warm reception and not too long waiting times. The fact it has a pool table and darts game board makes the time all the more enjoyable among friends and family

This pub is fantastic. It has the atmosphere of a pirate or smuggler pub. You can imagine pirates sitting round the tables drinking rum :)

So lovely place. Food was average its a really old Inn so when the food was given out on at first I thought it was pinic plates it was such an odd colour? It was the thinnest plate I had steak off the special board which actually I couldn't have the sauce that comes with it because that's only done in the evening? My friends burger was OK the food was okay they don't do fancy presentation it's just put on the plate. After we finished I had to look at the plate at they were from IKEA, which is fine but doesn't feel like the atmosphere of the Inn was thought about. The manager / owner was on his mobile talking loudly about parts? Wanted to finish the meal with a brandy they hadn't any on shelves or in stock. It's okay food wise does its job. Not worth travelling to its lost all the aspects of an Inn with so much history.

What a lovely pub the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend The first and last inn.

Fabulous. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Laura made us feel right at home and we went back several times including to have a delicious roast lunch on one occasion. Very popular with the locals, thereby creating a great 'pub atmosphere'. They have live music entertainers, but unfortunately we were not in the region at time of any. Would definitely go back if in the region

Good staff and service. Has a playpark for kids which is nice and large carpark. It's expensive imo £4.50 a pint and £3.50 for small bowl of nice chips but it's a tourist spot so I guess that's the game

Pulled in and parked up, went in and was greeted with good customer service and a smile, asked if we wanted just drinks or food and where we would like to sit(Covid Safe) We sat in the main bar, then we were given menus and ordered drinks first. The beer is kept well and the service was quick. The food turned up and is for pub standards really good and worth the money paid. The pub is well kept and decorated with old tools n pictures from yester year to give it the atmosphere. All in all if you're passing and you're hungry and thirsty, then this place is well worth the stop as the next pub is in America 😁😁😁 Fellow bikers take a side stand pad as most of the carpark is sand and gravel, bikers are welcome and the carpark exit is on a blind ish bend so be careful 😉😉

Lovely pub at the edge of the world with a homely yet modern feel to it. The well is a lovely touch, and there was a fish in it!!! Popped.in for a quick pint and when your at the end of the land, then I makes sense to come to the first pub back!!! Try the First and Last Ale; very smooth with a hippy finish.

This is one of my favourites in Cornwall and I make sure I visit them at least once a year with family or friends. The rustic feel and the friendly folk are always a delight to visit. Our go to drink is doombar, but I tried proper job for a change and absolutely loved it.The fish and chips here are a must have, and the onion glazed sauce would make you salvate for good
